Bus ToursThe preserve offers prairie bus tours at 11 a.m., 1 p.m.,and 3 p.m. during the summer months. The bus isequipped for wheelchairs. Tickets are $5 per adultand $3 for children 5 – 18 years of age. Four yearsand under are free.
Visiting After HoursThe parking lot gates and building close at 4:30 p.m.The Southwind Nature Trail and ranch headquarters areopen until sunset.
The preserve is located in south central Kansas. It is two miles north of intersection U.S. 50 and Flint HillsNational Scenic Byway 177 west of Strong City.
