In the course of 150 years, independent production has undergone massive development. the most up-to-date technology, development and research are combined with a high proportion of manual work, the careful selection of material, and the production of semi-finished products under company supervi-sion. PEtrof grands and uprights are popular the world over for their gentle, delicate and romantic tone and their first-rate finish. to mark the company’s 150th anniversary the firm is bringing out the ANt. PEtrof in honour of the company founder Antonín Petrof. the ANt. PEtrof 275, the first masterly instrument of this series, is intended for use on the world’s stages by professional pianists.

Antonín Petrof. the AP275 and the AP225 are intended for the most outstanding players on the world’s stages. the AP237, currently in preparation, will with its sound range perfectly substitute for a small grand.

Instruments with the Weinbach name make up the middle range of PEtrof’s portfolio. the uprights and grands are designed in PEtrof’s development department. they are semi-completed in a leading Chinese

piano factory, and finished off in the Czech republic. Every care is taken in their completion at the PEtrof fac-tory. Even demanding pianists appreciate the resulting sound and the precise response of the action. Weinbach instruments are also very popular in music schools. the Weinbach tradition goes back to 1887, when the work-shop was set up in the Weinbach region to build organs. However, from 1893 it produced exclusively pianos.

rösler uprights are designed by PEtrof’s development department. they are then manufactured in a leading Chinese piano factory under the supervision of experienced craftsmen. rösler instruments belong to the lower section of middle-range pianos. their time-tested construction methods and precise manu-facture on the most up-to-date machines ensure a delicate sound, ease of control and a practical design.

Instruments of the Scholze brand belong to PEtrof’s brand portfolio. they are produced in China. these are reliable instruments, with a surprisingly cultivated and colourful audio performance. from a mechanical point of view the pianos are easy to control and suitable for advanced pianists and beginners.
