성능 평가 기준 수치는 잘 구성된 특수 개발용 컴

퓨터 시스템을 사용해서 측정한 것이며 32-bit 어

플리케이션 및 외장 캐쉬를 지원하는 시스템인 경

우 외장 캐쉬를 사용해 얻어진 것입니다. 모든 성

능 평가 기준치는 가정치이며 IBM은 이에 관련하

여 어떠한 보장도 하지 않습니다. 구매자는 구매하

고자 하는 시스템 성능을 평가하기 위해 시스템

성능 평가 기준을 포함한 다른 정보 소스를 참조

해야 합니다. 실제 시스템 성능은 달라질 수 있으

며 시스템 하드웨어 구성 및 소프트웨어 디자인,

구성 등 수많은 요인의 향을 받습니다.

TPC-C 성능 평가 결과는 TPC-C Version 5입

니다.

TmpC : TPC 성능 평가 C 처리율은 최소 20분

간 유효 TPC-C 구성에서 1분간 처리된 평균 트

랜잭션을 측정한 것입니다.

$/tpmC : TPC 성능 평가 기준 C 가격 실행률은

시스템 하드웨어, 소프트웨어 및 유지 보수비용을

tpmC로 나누어 5년간의 예상 총소유 비용(TPO)

을 보여줍니다.

QppH는 TPC-H의 파워 메트릭이며 삽입 테스트,

삭제 테스트 및 17 TPC-H 질의의 기하 평균에

근거합니다. 이는 시스템이 이용가능한 모든 자원

을 활용하여 한 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 최고

의 응답시간을 측정한 것입니다. QppH는 30GB

에서 10TB 사이의 데이터베이스에 근거합니다.

QthH는 TPC-H의 처리율 메트릭이며 시스템이

행하는 업데이트 스트림이 이루어집니다. QthH는

QphH는 파워 테스트(QppH) 및 처리율 테스트

(QthH)의 기하 평균입니다.

rPerf(Relative Performance)는 상용 처리 기능

얻어진 것입니다. rPerf 모델은 공인 성능 평가 결

과가 아니며 공인 성능 평가 기준으로 사용되는

것을 금합니다. 본 모델은 CPU, 캐쉬 및 메모리와

같은 시스템 작업을 모의한 것이나, 디스크 작업이

나 네트워크 I/O 작업은 모의하지 않습니다.

rPerf는 발표 당시 AIX 5L이나 관련 소프트웨어의

최신 버전 시스템에 근거하여 산출됩니다. 실제 성

능은 특정 어플리케이션이나 구성에 따라 달라질

수 있습니다. IBM pSeries 640이 기

준 참조 시스템이며 수치는 1.0입니다. rPerf가 관

련 IBM UNIX 상용 처리 기능의 근사치로 사용되

기는 하지만 실제 시스템 성능은 달라질 수 있으

며 시스템 하드웨어 구성, 소프트웨어 디자인 및

구성 등 수많은 요인의 향을 받습니다.
