Senior Application Days The TRIO ETS staff started the year off by checking in with
seniors about their college plans. TRIO ETS advisors hosted
application days on no-school days for any TRIO ETS seniors
wanting additional help with the college application process.
TRIO ETS advisors look forward to helping seniors with the
college and financial aid process throughout the year. See
page two for upcoming college application dates.
Student Leadership Council Retreat On Friday, October 18th,
TRIO ETS students from all
four schools gathered for a
Student Leadership Council
(SLC) Retreat. The students
that attended were all nomi-
nated as student leaders at
their school and within the
TRIO ETS program. The
event started with a pizza
lunch and transitioned into teambuilding and leadership activ-
ities led by Liz Sabel, the Assistant Director of New Student
Programs at Normandale Community College. The afternoon
was full of fun activities and discussion around the topic of
what it means to be a leader. It was a great kick-off to a year
full of events for our SLC students!

the college’s cafeteria. During the admissions presentation,
students were delighted to learn about scholarships and
support services available to them as a TRIO student. After
a great morning hosted by Augsburg College, students

other TRIO ETS students.
