TONGUE TWISTERS

Six slimy snails sailed silently

Four furious friends fought for the phone

Sweaty leather sweater is no good for this weather

Never trouble trouble until trou-ble troubles you!

I bought a brand new rubber ball.

I threw it at my bedroom wall.

It                      startedbouncing                       back

and                       forth

from                       north

to                       south

MY TEACHER CALLS ME SWEETIE CAKES

My teacher calls me sweetie cakes.My classmates think it’s funnyto hear her call me angel faceor pookie bear or honey

She calls me precious baby doll.She calls me pumpkin pieor doodle bug or honey bunchor darling butterfly.

My class is so embarassingI need to find another;just any class at allin which the teacher’s not my mother.

ANSWER TO A CHILDREN’S QUESTION

Do you ask what the birds say? The spar-row, the dove, the linnet and thrush say, "I love and I love! “In the winter they're silent - the wind is so strong; What it says, I don't know, but it sings a loud song. But green leaves, and blossoms, and sunny warm weather,

and singing, and lov-ing -all come back to-gether. But the lark is so brimful of gladness and love, the green fields below him, the blue sky above, that he sings, and he sings; and for ever sings he-"I love my Love, and my Love loves me!"

FIVE LITTLE MONKEYS JUMPING ON THE BED

It was bedtime. So five little monkeys took a bath.Five little monkeys put on their paja-mas.Five little monkeys brushed their teeth.Five little monkeys said good night to their mama.

Then … five little monkeys jumped on the bed!One fell off and bumped his head.The mama called the doctor. The doctor said,"No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
