SMALL MAMMALS AND UPLAND GAMEBIRD CLASSES
Thanks for choosing Ozark Woods for all your taxidermy needs. We continue to strive for perfection in all that we do, and we try to be the leader in small game form innovations. We do this by studying and observing our pets, “Bo” (grey fox), “Dallas and Brody” (silver and cross fox), “Lucky and Possum” (lower right corner), and “Bobby and Tommy” (bobcats). I also enjoy trapping, which enables me to observe and
understand their behavior and habits in the wild. We believe this will become evident to you as you use our forms, which will translate into more lifelike mounts for you that are easier to mount.

When considering where life came from, which side of the fence do you stand? Middle ground is not an option. The middle ground theory of “God got the ball rolling and then evoulution took over” has a major problem. God said he created completed things in 6 days. This hypothesis would make God out to be a liar which in turn would nullify him as God. The other middle ground theory is that each day of creation was auctually a period of 1000 years. BIG PROBLEM-grass, flow-ers, trees, ect. were created on the third day. The sun was created on the fourth day. I don’t think grass, flowers, trees, ect. could survive 1000 years without sunlight! So that leaves two choices-evolution or intelligent design. With evolution there are many problems, but lets explore just a couple. Darwin’s idea of evolution depended on mutation, natural selection, and survival of the fittest. First, with mutations, there is less genetic information. This would mean that life would be dumbed down from a single cell life form rather than increasing to the intelligence of man kind (well, some of man kind) Second, if birds evolved from reptiles(this is what evolutionist theorize) than a lizard would have to sprout completely formed wings with hollow bones. A lizard with 2 legs and 2 wings to run on wouldn’t be the fastest. Also, hollow bones would make it weak, causing it to be slow and weak-not the fittest! The problem that has plagued evolutionist since the beginning is where is the evolutional fossil trail? With millions upon millions of fossils, where is just one single fossil evolutionary trail? They claim that evolution took billions of years to happen. If so, surely in all that time there would be a clear fossil trail. It is not there! Space won’t allow to explore all the other evidence against evolution. That takes us to intelligent design. Yes, it takes faith to believe intelligent design but so does all the other theories. As one prominent evolutionist admitted “there is no way that evolution can be true but the only other option is to believe in God. I refuse to believe in God so therefore I am an evoltionist.” As you work on various animals and see how uniquely and specially designed they are- ask yourself what side of the fence are you?
ON WHICH SIDE OF THE FENCE DO YOU STAND?
OZARK WOODS INC.
SMALL GAME FORMS Over the years, we have gained the reputation of having the best panels on the market. Our goal in the form business is the same- TO BE THE BEST! We started out by being the first to develop the innovative small game pedestals. Then we produced life-size forms with exceptional detail and the most accurate facial detail of any small game forms in the business. At that point, we still didn’t rest on our reputation. After 6 years of research and development, We invented the easiest and best forms to mount on that has ever hit the market! Our thinking behind this innovative system was simple- “divide and conquer”.By forming the legs separate from the main body and keying perfectly into the main body, the advantages are numerous;
1) A bobcat size animal can be mounted with a 6-8 inch incision- this means cutting your sewing time in half!
2) Skin slots don’t have to be cut into the arm pits because they have been molded into the form-this means no more cutting through wires to make your skin slots!
3) A manikin with more of a life-like pose can be produced-this means happier customers and taxidermists.
4) These forms can be shipped safer and cheaper since the legs are separate from the main body-this means more money in your pocket and less frustrations from having to deal with broken legs.
5) We can provide you with a ridged foam body and optional flexible foam legs for $5.00 extra- this means easy alterations or adaptation to driftwood bases.
6) A more accurate form can be produced especially in the arm pit area and the area between the back legs- this means no more cussing while mounting small game and one less sin that will have to be confessed to God!
Page 2
We believe in the “Divide and Conquer” forms so much that we offer the only guarantee of its kind in the business. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee that does not matter if the form has been altered or cut or hide paste and clay smeared all over it -simply return the complete form within 30 days of the shipped date and the price of the form will be refunded. We believe these forms will put the fun back into mounting small game!

After the legs are inserted, then slide in the main body into the skin. At this point, You need to lock in the front legs. If you have used a belly incision, you will be able to screw a drywall screw into the front legs to secure them in place. On the other hand, if a short dorsal incision was used, simply make a 1/2 inch incision in the shoulder area and insert the screw. You can super glue this small incision back together. Now, seat the back legs into place and secure them with a screw. (See photo-3).
HOW TO USE“THE DIVIDE AND CONQUER” FORMS
PHOTO-1 The first photo shows how short an incision can be used to mount an animal. Any number of incisions can be employed with these forms. I prefer a short dorsal or a straight belly cut. However, a cased (trapper style) skin is no problem with these forms. (See photo-1).
After the skin is tanned, the mounting process begins with inserting the legs and tail
into the skin. The only tricky part about this is to get each leg form into the
appropriate leg. (See photo-2).
This photo is almost self explanatory. It is simple to see that your sewing time will
be cut by at least 50%. Plus, a shorter incision will mean a better seam or with a
belly incision, it will be hidden all together. (See photo-4).

DEER FORMS We are proud to offer our new line of deer forms. These forms have well defined muscularity without giving the appearance of a “deer on steroids.” The forms with asterics by them have com-pletely modeled inner nose details. Saving you much time and giving you superb accuracy. We plan on converting all the deer forms over to this as time permits. We offer the forms in semi-sneak and semi-upright. We are also starting a line of deer forms for the heavier Mid-western deer. The foam that we use is probably the best on the market. Very user friendly.

VICTRONOX KNIVES Victronox knives are some of the finest knives you can own. They sharpen easy and hold a good edge. Knives B & C are thin bladed knives that can be sharpened to a razor edge very easily. Many taxi-dermists use these knives in the fleshing process. Knife B has a serrated edge that makes it ideal for cutting around the head. The serrated edge will hold an edge longer when cutting against bone. Knife D has a sharp point that is good for making your initial cuts. Knife E is good for skinning or flesh-ing. This large knife can make large jobs into small ones.

We believe that you will agree that our rocks are the most realistic rocks on the market. They are constructed with a fiberglass shell and a foam core. Also, there is a 1/2 backboard molded into the rocks for easy hanging or screwing into a base. Each rock is individually painted. These rocks will save you hours of time in base work. Think about it, where will your clients have more room to put their trophy? On the floor where pets and children can destroy them or on the wall out of harms way? The rocks are so realistic that your customers will be asking, “How were you able to hang that rock on the wall?” as they walk over to get a closer look!

COMPANY POLICIES 2010 marked our 27th year in business. Our goal was, and still is, to produce the highest quality panel on the market. We have been able to produce quality panels at the lowest possible prices due to volume buying, state of the art machinery, purchasing lumber at wholesale prices, and by running our business with biblical principles. We are the new “kid on the block” with small game forms but with this in mind we knew we had to be innovative and creative in designing our forms. We knew we had to offer the taxidermist something different from the ordinary. We have not fallen victim to the attitude of “that will do” as seen in most small game forms. Deer, bird, and fish forms are light years ahead of what they were 15 years ago but small game forms have change very little. Our goal in the small game form market is to change all of that and give to you, the taxidermist, a form that is anatomically accurate and user friendly.
Thanks for helping make our business a success for the last 24 years!

CUSTOM WORK Over the years, we have manufactured about every conceivable taxidermy base, panel, table, case, etc. As a taxidermist, we can understand your needs and incorporate those needs into your woodwork. However, custom work is more expensive than production items, has a longer completion time, and is only done as time permits! Simply call us with your needs and we will be happy to quote a price and approximate time of completion.
BUSINESS HOURS Our normal business hours are Mon.-Thurs. 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. However, we are avid turkey hunters and have been know to sling an arrow toward a deer. So our October and April
Just a Thought If you happen to believe in evolution, look down at what you are mounting and ask yourself, “Did this specially designed creature crawl out of the mud or perhaps was this beautiful creature specifically designed by God Almighty, the Master Designer?”

SMALL GAME PEDESTAL HANDS ON SEMINARSBY BRIAN HARNESS
We are offering a hands on seminar, hosted by the 2009 World Champion and two-time North American Champion, Brian Harness. Each participant will mount a small game ped-estal of their choice. Brian will also show them how to correctly mount a foot along with some finishing techniqes. Lunch will be provided (which is included in the cost.) Participants must furnish all their own mounting tools. Any supplies needed can be purchased on site, i.e. (forms, eyes, ect.) at a 10% discount. The seminar dates will be September 25, 2010 and May 21, 2011. There is a maximum of 12 students per class, and cost is $95.00 per a person. A $50.00 deposit is required to hold a spot, and full payment must be made by 10 days before the class. Harrison is located 35 miles south of Branson, MO. making it ideal to bring your family along so that they can enjoy the activities and recreation that Branson has to offer while you attend the class. This show is one of the best ways to “up your game” at a very, very minimal cost. Some comments from past participants are “I learned so much and the class was very enjoyable”-Debbie. “Best bobcat i have ever mounted”- Mike.
