-Usethechargeronlyinawalloutlet.Donotplugthechargerintoaceilingoutlet.
•Beforechargingthebattery,examinethebatterycaseforcracksandotherdamagewhichmaycausesulfuricacid(electrolyte)toleakduringthechargingprocess.Ifdamageisdetected,donotchargethebatteryoruseitinyourvehicle.Batteryacidisverycorrosiveandcancauseseveredamagetosurfacesitcontacts.
•Donotplacethebatteryonasurface(suchaskitchencountertops)whichcouldbedamagedbytheacidcontainedinsidethebattery.Takeprecautionstoprotectthesurfaceonwhichyouplaceyourbattery.
•Chargethebatteryinawellventilatedarea.•Oncethebatteryischarged,disconnectthechargerfromthebattery.Unplugthechargerfromthewalloutlet.RefertotheBatteryInstallationsectionforinstructionsoninstallingyourbattery.Ifyourbatteryisalreadyinstalledinyourvehicle,simplyre-connectthemotorharnessconnectortothebattery.
•Youdonotneedtoremovethebatteryfromyourvehicletorechargeit.
