Hello again all, and welcome back to my OWBC.

It has been quite a while since my last update and for that I apologise.

As you can see I am now writing my OWBC chapters in PowerPoint and hosting them on Slideshare and I hope none of you will find it an inconvenience.

I have of course made a re-cap picture to refresh your memories of my OWBC family

So – let’s get the show on the road!

In the top row we have the whole 2nd Pinch generation. Rundlet is the Bad Apple.

There; that wasn’t too painful was it? And talking of painful…

Average’s house

OOOWOWOWOO!!!

Aaaaand it a girl!Yes Average finally had his baby, and this little green girl will be named Mediocre,

which isn't, as you are rightly observing, a measuring name at allbut a name which must surely fit the daughter of a simself named Average.

(A big thank you to Cee/Cait for suggesting the name.)

"There you go Mediocre, now spend some quality time with the floor.“

I have previously observed that simselves don't always make the best parents,and Average certainly confirms that theory.

But he did at least invite some old friends over for Mediocre's first birthday party.

Hm, noseless, earless and hairless; she will have to get by on her charms alone.

Now; I try to make a point of never calling a sim ugly, but I reeeally am struggling here. We can only hope she will grow into her looks.

Aww poor Mediocre, at least your nanny loves you.

That is; when she is not busy trying to beat herself at chess.

Hehe, I just noticed; the wallpaper in Mediocre’s room is nearly the same colour as the background for this slide show.This seems to be a favourite colour of mine – you’ll see more of it later in the chapter.

Right; lets get down to OWBC business.

We tune in to the OWBC house just in time to prevent Rundlet from making Macaroni Cheese.

A quick hug from Oka and the danger has passed. The “Beyond Cheesy” points are still safe.

Caffie and Olf are as lovely-dovely as ever and while Litre is doing his best to ignore his embarrassing uncle and 3 bolt wife, poor Chisel Jersey just finds the whole

thing deeply humiliating.

Aww, I'll tell her to go and play a computer game, it's one of her daily wants.

"Chisel Jersey! Did you just break the computer? Don't you know how dangerous it is for us to be fixing the computers? Your father once DIED fixing a computer!“

"I'm sorry mum, just let me grow up and I can fix it, I have 8 mechanical points already."

But no, Chisel Jersey is nowhere near ready to grow up, so it falls to her cousin Litre to fix it. Fix it the following day I hasten to add, I'm not forgetting the Drew rule.

"There. Now can I go to Uni?“

Sure you can, you’ve got the Phelps-Wilsonoff Billiards Prize and a good handful of other scholarships, so off you go.

Chisel Jersey: "Take me with you Litre - Pleasepleaseplease!!“

Picolo: "Bye bro, and good riddance."

Author note: Litre actually rolled a want to apologise to Picolo the previous day and although I didn’t act on it I will keep it in mind and see if they can patch things up themselves once they are both at Uni.

And so Litre, the eldest of the second Pinch generation, sets off for University under the watchful eye of a resident Evil Snowman. Built by Chisel Jersey.

Half an hour later: "Bye Litre, enjoy Uni.“

Chisel Jersey: ">sigh< Dad is busy making out with mum again and Litre has left for University, so I guess it falls to me to steal Jerk back.“

That's a good girl Chisel Jersey, and don't forget to do the little evil cackle thing before you walk off the lot. It's such an excellent photo opportunity.

Chisel Jersey: "Gimme a break Lady."

The next day an important family meeting was held.

Caffie: "Go on Olf, tell her.“

Oka: "Tell me what, my dears?"

Olf: “Now please don't get mad. Caffie and I have been discussing this for quite some time now and seeing I'm due to turn elder in a few days, it's time for us to act."

Oka: "What is it you want to do?"

Olf: "We want to move. We have decided we don't want to live the OWBC life anymore;we want to live the simself life!“

Oka: "And what does Shadey have to say about that?“

Caffie: "Actually it was her idea."

Oka: "If you have Shadey's approval then I'll say 'Go for it'! You both deserve an easier life and I daresay little Chisel Jersey will be overjoyed to have fully controllable parents.“

Caffie: "Thank you Oka. Will you be alright on your own though?“

Oka: "Oh yes, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. Whenever I feel lonely I can just call and invite you over, or I can go down to Stars and Heartfarts and hang out with the simselves there."

While Chisel Jersey spread the happy news the rest of the Pinch family, Caffie found a nice little house for her little family to live in.

One last look at the first generation Bad Apple and his daughter as they leave the OWBC house.

The decision to move Olf and Caffie out of the OWBC house was entirely mine. For one, there were quite a lot of sims in the house, and it was looking to become very crowded once the 2nd

generation heir moves in with his/her spouse and start to produce offspring, and another, far more important reason was that Chisel Jersey had rolled the want for a puppy.

And so, the OWBC house is a lot quieter.

Ugh Rundlet, put that yucky rotting Grilled Cheese down, you're going to make yourself sick.

And you two; Stop playing Red Hands and start playing pool like I told you to.

Surely pool is more fun than Red Hands?!

Greenhill University

"Oh dear plumbbob, what is this place?“

This is son of a spare; Byte Pinch.

"Tacky lawn ornaments littering the lawn and a plot of vegetable garden?!"

"It looks like a junk shop! Nothing matches, nothing is expensive or good taste."

"And a coffin? Who the heck would want to sleep in a coffin? You can’t even WooHoo in them."

“And this, I presume, is the current placeholder. What a loser.”

"I can't live like this."

"JOEL Come out here!"

"Huh? What is it?“

"Look there! A flying pig!"

"Man, what are you on abou.. Hey! Where did the house go?

Why is all the furniture out here? What are you up to?“

"You'll see in juuust a moment."

Byte: "There; all done. Now we just have to wait till the others move in so we can buy some nice stuff for out here.“

Joel: What have you done?! I liked the old house better. Where are the flamingos? We need them for this challenge. And my fruit trees?"

Byte: "Don't worry, the flamingos are safely stowed away in a corner of the lot(still kickable) along with your precious fruit trees."

So yes, Gry Greek House has been completely rebuilt and refurbished.

There was quite a substantial amount of simoleons in the bank from the previous generations' stay here, and that suited Fortune-sim Byte down to a tee.

I will still readily admit I am not a great house builder and my interior decorating skills kinda suck, but I hope I have managed to decorate the place in a way a Fortune sim

would.

Upstairs, in the hallway outside the bedrooms, I have hung the paintings of the previous Pinch family members who have lived here.

Yeah, I should have framed them before I took this picture, shouldn’t I?

But is the little Fortune sim happy? The heck he is!

Here he is; surrounded by nice new furniture, some of it very expensive, but still his wants panel is full of material wants while he himself is hissy fitting over low environment.

There is no pleasing some sims.

Byte soon surfaced from his little tantrum and began concentrating on getting to know all the Uni ladies and, as I’m sure you know, there are plenty to choose from.

The nex day I had him invite Litre over to pledge him in.

Still at the hugging, eh guys?

I’m telling you; those two have 10 nice points for each other.

"Cuz; what are you wearing? Go and find some better clothes in the wardrobe."

Litre found the clothes, and headed straight down to Crypt'O Nightclub.

He was wanting to meet someone special.

But why the angry face Litre?

Ah, I see; they still don't serve Grilled Cheese here. I wish this discrimination against Grilled Cheese'ers would stop. To whom can I phone and complain?

After Litre had drunk enough water to sate the thirst of a heard of camels, Rebeka Kearney the Atrociously Evil Witch finally made an appearance, and Litre spent his remaining energy getting to know her before

heading back.You know the saying “it never rains but it pours”? Well that was certainly the case here. After Rebeka arrived,

the NCP floodgates opened and Crypt’O Nightclub became Lag’O Nightclub. It was kinda fun though; watching Litre tickle Rebeka Kearney the Atrociously Evil Witch in slow motion. *eyeroll*

Soon he was able to ask Rebeka to show him the path of darkness.

Yeah, I bet none of you saw this one coming(!)

There! I always knew he would look good as a warlock.

And thus Litre made himself comfortable at Gry Greek House; with darkly paneled walls, a dusty spell book and a thick-bottomed cauldron (approved by the Department of International

Magical Co-operation), all in a room on the first floor. A reinforced floor, one hopes.

"Litre! You're.. you're.. you're a WIZARD?!“

"Calm down cuz, I have wanted to become a wizard ever since people started commenting on how much I look like Harry Potter."

“But you're nothing like Harry Potter! For one thing, you only have one nice point and I bet you your sweet little Harry has a lot more than that.“

"Small details cuz, small details."

"MUAHAHAHAHA!“

Byte: >grumble< "I'll give you that you are rather good at the evil cackling thing, but all the same; I'm going to lie scowling here on your bed for the rest of the day."

But Byte didn't scowl all day, he soon began daydreaming about...

Eeva-Maria? Hm, I’m sure there is a story there.

Anyhow, back to Uni life…

"How lovely to see you in your everyday clothes for a change Joel, but how about finding a more snazzy everyday wear among the nice clothes I have been buying?“

"O.. OK, if you think."

"When I said 'snazzy' I didn't mean an old rag!“

"But it was in the wardrobe, and it's real comfy.“

And that is how Joel came to use his beloved Toga as everyday wear.

Time to introduce another spare Pinch; this time it's Ounce and Julie's daughter Lea.

Don't mind Joel there, he is just wanting to tell her some gossip.

Oh? It's about me.

Lies! I tell you; it's all lies. My parties rock! Don't listen to him Lea.

See? Another roof-raiser!

Though Joel does seem very keen on Lea, he already has a fiancée. I don't know if any of you noticed the engagement ring on his finger, but he has in fact been engaged to Melanie King for quite some time now, and they are a healthy two bolt couple.

Also, Lea has another beaux.

While she was still a teen, the Match Maker date-dropped Rah Ramaswami for her.

You might remember that, ages ago, I used Priya and Sanjay Ramaswami as hosts for a chapter and that they were going to see how many kids they could produce before the chapter was over? Well, they did get a bit distracted with fulfilling their job related LTWs and whatnot,

but nevertheless managed to produce four fine children before they turned old.

Lea and Rah are a full 3 bolts and there is no way I’d ever separate them.

Brief interlude: Fun with Gnomes.

Byte wants to steal back Noggin the gnome no less than four times.Knock yourself out Byte.

No wait – seven times!

“Litre?! Where are you going?”

“Me? I’m going to steal back Noggin.You’re not the only one around here with one nice point, you know.”

“Aww man, don’t do the evil cackle too, that’s not fair.”

In the end, between the efforts of Byte and Litre, with wants to steal gnomes popping

in and out of their queues, Gry Greek House ended up with “just” seven Noggins.

The Noggins weren’t happy though,

they kept complaining that they were one short of “Strip the Willow”.

Things soon settled into a steady routine at Gry Greek House.

Byte was never short of willing female friends.

And though there have already been a few close calls he has never actually been caught. Yet.

“Byte, who is that girl?”

“Heheh… umm… that must be Joel’s girlfriend, yeah.”

Litre on the other hand has more important matters to deal with; he is on the phone to his younger brother in an attempt to patch things up.

Well, I want them to have a 0/0 relationship before Picolo moves in, to give them a fresh start and to see if Litre really did want to try to become friends with his brother.

See; that wasn’t so hard was it Litre?

“Yes it was.”

And as a reward for being so nice I let Litre study the ways of Darkness till he turned green.

Note: I later grew fed up with him being that colour and had him study the Neutral paths.

Then I got him to call his old friend, Rebeka Kearney the Atrociously Evil Witch, so he could buy some potions. They take so dreadfully long for him to make and

we can spare a few Simoleons on a bit of magic.

Only moments after receiving the potions, Litre decided tomake his own magic by autonomously flirting with Rebeka.

Poor Litre, I never realised how love-starved he must be.Shall I let him have his first kiss?

She may be an old witch but she sure made Litre’s hearts swirl.

Rebeka is too old to become Litre’s future spouse but that shouldn’t stop them from being lovers. Because there is nothing like a mature woman showing a young man how it’s really

done.

Back at the OWBC house there is no shortage of fun for the resident Bad Apple.And fun it is to ask visiting sims to “join the smustle” in the smallest room of the house.

I won’t bore you with the smustle-blooper-picspam, but rest assured it waspretty hilarious to witness Tosha smustling with one leg in the toilet.

Another of Rundlet’s favourite things to do is playing sims3.

I remember from a pop-up back when she was a child that her predestined hobby is Games and it surely can’t be long before she gets in the Zone.

But there is one teen experience Rundlet is lacking: romancing.She really is quite an innocent on that point.

So when she brought this BV teen home and I just couldn’t resist gettingsomeone to influence him to flirt with her. She didn’t like it very much.

Later though, she had an all night hang-out with himso I think it’s safe to say her curiosity has been whetted.

The next day it was time for the twins to head off to Unileaving only Oka and Rundlet in the OWBC house.

But Rundlet didn’t seem to miss her siblings; in truth shereally enjoyed the extra space for her free-will antics.

She also very much enjoyed the exercise bikeI’d put in one of the many now empty bedrooms.

A quick shift to Uni tells us that a change of clothes needed,but I have to admit it’s not as bad as it could have been.

Lea and Tosha soon became friends but I don’t think there is much chance of Byte and Picolo ever becoming friends. Both Picolo and Tosha hate Byte and he hates them back, with a vengeance. I’m just going to let them get on with it and I

fully believe we will see quite a few of fights from that threesome.

A few days later, when Lea was able to pledge them all in, I let Picolo and Tosha get engaged.

They seem like that steady sort of couple who gets engaged at Uni and stay together forever.

Pica still hasn’t any romantic endeavours under her beltbut I’m happy for her to take it easy on that front.

Like the make-over I gave her? I never realised how much she suits long hair,and now she shouldn’t easily get confused with her cousin Lea.

Litre is honouring his teen want and does indeed seem to get on well with his little brother.

Woooh! Please excuse me while I cheer for this: my first Lamp delivery ever.What took you Mrs. Gypsy?

But I am really pleased and now I have no qualms putting Rundlet in the heir poll.

Soon it was time for placeholder Joel to grow into an adult and leave Gry Greek house.

He moved to Greenhill and immediately invited Melanie over and asked her to move in.

They are going to populate Greenhill with lots of lovely little red haired kiddies, I just know it.

Fast forward a week or so and Rundlet gets her 2 day pop-up and off to Uni she goes.

Pica was the one who had the honour of pledging in her younger sister.

And now she is a YA I *think* I am allowed to give you her stats:Aquarius, 5/4/7/10/9, Romance/Fortune.

LTW: WooHoo with 20 Different Sims. (Yay – not!)And her predestined hobby is as I mentioned before; Games.

The first thing Picolo did after Rundlet moved in was tell her all about the strange objects on the shelves.

He did it autonomously; I never knew sims could do that. Sweet eh?

Byte was not happy at all to find that, as an uncontrollable, his younger cousin can’t be made to go and change her clothes. - Well, actually she can, I am allowed give her up to 8 commands per 24 hours, but >shhh< don’t tell Byte. I actually like

Rundlet’s choice of everyday wear.

There has also been another new face showing up at Gry Greek house.Yes, this is Omar Simself, he is now a YA and boy does he need a change a clothes.

Though Omar is always very friendly, Byte is not quite sure what to think of the hairy simself.

It would probably help if Omar would stop making those kissy-faces at Byte.

Back in Greenhill Oka is making the best of her new-found freedom.

The first thing she wanted to do was to enter a cooking competition;she often has that want sitting in her panel and what better time to fulfil it.

To my eye there is no doubt that Oka’s Grilled Cheese looks the most tempting, but will the judge think so too?

Yay, a happy memory and some nice aspiration points to Oka.

Now it’s time to head over to Stars and Heartfarts and seeif the simselves there are behaving themselves.

Predictably they are all lining up to get some award-winning Grilled Cheese,though I’m not entirely sure Angel appreciates getting it showed into her right eye.

The games keep being a big hit with the simselves…

… as do the hot tubs.

This time round Jo was being very sweet and looking after the children as they played darts.

Jo’s simself must be very brave; both Fry and Chisel Jersey only have one nice point each.I would stand well back if I were you Jo.

Back home I caught Oka looking very down.Didn’t the antics of simselves amuse you at all?

“They did, to a certain extent. But even all the simselves inthe world being amusing couldn’t fill the ache in my heart.”

All the simselves in the world? Now there is a scary thought.But if that’s the way you feel there is only one thing for it…

“What?”

Look behind you Oka.

“The Bone Phone Shadey… are you sure you want me to do that?”

I’m positive. You get the love of your life back and I get some nice points.

… click…

“Oh hello, this is Oka Pinch. I’m calling to see if you couldpossibly return my husband Matthew Pinch to me?”

“Wha…you’re not sure?! … nick name? Well he was often called Sad Old Guy… Oh good!Yes, right away please. Um, I was told to give you 2000 Simoleons, is that alright?”

Going by that white beard I’d say we’ve got the correct old guy here.

Why Oka is thinking of a bar of gold beats me, and I couldn’t even think of a funny caption for it.(Drat)

“Honey it is so good to see you again, though I must say you do look a bit worse for wear.”

“Thank you for resurrecting me Oka darling, I promise I will bathe frequently.”

Less than 10 minutes after being resurrected, Sad Old Guy got a phone call from his youngest daughter whom he never really got to know before he died.

I think it’s wonderful how Rundlet somehow knew her dad was in the world of the living again; now I know for sure I did the right thing rezzing him.

And though not all the Greenhill townies appreciated the arrival of a zombiein the neighbourhood, Sad Old Guy soon became a familiar face to all again.

With a little tweaking he and Oka are yet again two bolts,and when the relationship was back up to Best Friends…

… It was time for the big question:

Sad Old Guy: “Oka Pinch, will you marry me in chapter 16?

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, there will indeed be asomewhat unexpected wedding taking place in chapter 16.

And just before this chapter comes to an closelet’s briefly hop over to the newest Pinch household…

Caffie: “Who are you calling, darling?”

Chisel Jersey: “I’m just calling services.”

Caffie: Oh yes, we can have a maid now, can’t we Olf?”

Olf: “That’s right sweetie, and a Butler if you like.”

“Hello? Is that the Pet Adoption Agency? Yes. My name is Chisel Jersey Pinch and I would like to adopt a small brown puppy.”

“No, my parents can’t come to the phone right now, they are busy getting fit.”

“I beg you pardon; what do you mean children can’t adopt pets?Don’t you know it’s the usually children who roll the wants for pets in the first place?

“Well Madam, you can take your policies and shove them. I’ll have you know I am the daughter of, until very recently, uncontrollable parents and I was the one who had to take

care of them. I’ll also have you know I have level 8 in all skills and I plan to use them against anyone who treats me unfairly. Just you wait; when I grow up… “

“How rude to hang up on me like that.”

“But I shan’t be put off, there must be another way to get what I want.”

Paper boy Derek Vijayakar seem to have succumbed to silent resignation concerning his flamingophobia, or perhaps he merely is wondering if they are frozen sufficiently solid as

to scatter in a thousand pieces if he kicks them.
