You have the alternative option to access the e-mail system through the internet with OWA (Outlook Web Access). You definately need this access to change your account password.
Please always use the Internet Explorer, because an other browser can cause errors!

Password requirements
Please make sure your new password has minimum 8 characters and fulfills 3 of the following 4 re-quirements:
- capital letters (A-Z) - small letters (a-z) - special characters (!$#%) but no @ - numbers (0-9)

Change your password (OWA login)
1 Open the URL: https://webmail.johanniter.de/OWA Click on the OWA link above. Check the box This is a private computer Type in your Username (firstname.surname) and your Password click on Log on Differents between login options
This is a public or shared computer: The connection will be automatically ter-minated after 3 min not working on it (more save).
This is a private computer: The connection will not be terminated (less safe).

2 Click on Options in the upper right corner.
Click on Change Your Password…
3 Type in your current password. After that type in your new password and confirm it. Click on Save
4 After successfully changing your password you will get this window.

Please always wait 20 minutes before you can open the Outlook client again because the server needs some time for replication.
Otherwise you will get an error and it will be not possible to log on to Outlook or OWA.
6 The next time you log on to OWA you have to type in your full mail address at Username ([email protected]) Then please type in your new Password. After that was successful, you can log on to OWA as usual (firstname.surname) in case you need to use OWA again.
7 If you were not successful changing your password you will get a message like this. So try again after reading the password require-ments.
8 In case you followed the password requirements but your new password is not accepted by the server, the reason could be the following:
Your new password is too equal to your old passwords. The server refuses passwords you have already choosen in the past

1 See step 1 above Change your password
2 Click on Options in the upper right corner.
Click on See All Options
3 Click on Settings on the left menue , after that klick on the Mailicon in the upper middle of the window. After that you can create your signature. Don´t forget to save by scrolling down and klick on save in the lower right corner.

Automatic reply
1 See step 1 above Change your password
2 Klick on Options in the upper right corner
Klick on Set Automatic Replies…
3 Check the box Send automatic replies. Now you can set a time period for sending automatic replies and write your reply message. Don´t forget to save by scrolling down and klick on save in the lower right corner
