Accessing Exchange 2010 – OWA Outlook Web Access 1. Open a web browser 2. Go to http://exchange.mercy.edu in the address window and press Enter 3. Type your username and password (as shown below) and click OK

4. Once you log in, you will see this screen (only one time) confirm the language is English and the Time zone is set to Eastern Time then click OK.

5. This is the new 2010 Exchange default view.

Expand/Collapse Button bar will allow you to collapse your folder view to icons

Select New to start composing a new message or set up a new meeting

The arrow is how you can show or hide folders, click to hide and then click again to show.

6. To turn off the conversation tree >Right click on any white space next to Date > click the checkbox next to Conversation, to eliminate the check-mark, this will turn off the conversation tree.

You can create your signature in this text area and check the box to include your signature in emails.

You can change the font and size of the font if you like.

You can check any boxes to set up notifications for messages.

When you are done making your changes click save to keep the changes you have made.

Block & Allow You can tell Exchange which email messages are allowed and you can even block email messages you no longer would like to receive.

Calendar View You can set up your calendar either by Day, Work Week or Month Month Default View

You can select NEW and choose to create an appointment, meeting request, or message.

When you click on Contacts this is the default view that is shown. If you click on new > you can set up a new contact, a distribution group or even a new message. Contacts Default View
