Cyberjaya- Known as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of Malaysia, Cyberjaya is a high-tech planned city, 50kms away

from the hustles and bustles of city life. Cyberjaya is a part of the much renowned Multimedia Super

Corridor (MSC) of Malaysia. Cyberjaya is a hub for MNC’s and various national firms to hold their office of

which IBM, HP, Dell, BMW, DHL and Ericsson are few to name. OIT students will meet and interact with

Malaysia Development Corporation (MDEC) authorities- the top notch master planner of this entire Silicon

Valley of Malaysia. Students will also have a ride through the city enjoying its mesmerizing roads and

flourishing gardens by the roadside.

Multimedia University (MMU) – MMU is one of the most prominent and oldest Private Universities in

Malaysia. Located on an 80 hectare land area, MMU offers engineering, IT, multimedia designing,

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) - KLIA is Malaysia's main international airport and is also

one of the major airports of South East Asia located some 60 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur. The airport is

in the Sepang district of southern Selangor state. It was ranked the 14th busiest airport in the world and the

5th busiest international airport in Asia. It was also ranked the 29th busiest airport by cargo traffic in 2010.

The airport is operated by Malaysia Airports (MAHB) Sepang Sdn Bhd and is the major hub of Malaysia

F1 Circuit Sepang- Sepang International Circuit is a motorsport race track in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. It

is located near Kuala Lumpur International Airport, approximately 60 km south of the capital city of Kuala

Lumpur. It is the venue used for the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, A1 Grand Prix, Malaysian

Motorcycle Grand Prix and other major motorsport events.

Gradmalaysia.com- Owned by GTI Media, Malaysia gradmalaysia.com is a firm that helps students in

Malaysia to source jobs upon graduate and post graduate studies. Gradmalaysia will be a great source of

MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) - MECC is a trade Centre, exhibition hall, and

convention centre in the City of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. MECC, established by MATRADE (Malaysian

External Trade Development Corporation), provides convention facilities, exhibition halls, and meeting

rooms.

D’Asia OIT Application Procedure

Notes:

1. A minimum of 10 students accompanied by a minimum of 1 management staff/lecturer is COMPULSORY for any OIT. D’Asia

offers a FULL COMPLIMENTARY package to 1 management staff/lecturer for every 10 OIT students. If

the college/university sends a group of 40 or more OIT students D’Asia offers FULL COMPLIMENTARY package to

5 management staff/lecturers.

2. Detailed itinerary of the OIT will only be provided upon confirmation from the university/college management.

3. Not all the above listed industrial and leisure spots will be visited by all OIT batches. Upon discussion with the respective

university/college authorities D’Asia will confirm the exact number and spots of visit.

4. University/College need to confirm the number and list of students, preferred month of travel (preferably exact week) and full

payment at least 2 months in advance to D’Asia office. Please be reminded that upon official confirmation and payment from

the college management, no cancellation or postponement of OIT is allowed and if any such case happens refund is not

offered/allowed either in partial or full.

5. The package includes flight tickets in Air Asia, Malaysian social visit visa fee, processing fee, 3 to 4 Star Hotel Accommodation

in Kuala Lumpur, breakfast, dinner, sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur and Genting, entry passes to major attractions,

transportation throughout the trip in Malaysia and Malaysian registered tour guide fee.

6. The package excludes lunch expenses.

7. The package price is INR.45, 000/- all inclusive per student at the time of printing of this document.

D’Asia OIT Itinerary

OIT Students will be accompanied by D’Asia Representatives at Cochin International

Airport on the day of traveling to ensure smooth departure procedures.

Day 1: Upon arrival at LCCT airport in Malaysia, OIT students will be greeted and

welcomed by D’Asia Overseas Representatives. OIT students will be transferred to hotel

in Kuala Lumpur for check-in. OIT students will be taken for a city sightseeing by noon.

Students will be transferred back to the hotel after dinner.

Day 2: Upon breakfast OIT students will be picked up from the hotel in the morning and

will be headed towards Genting Highlands via bus. Students can enjoy the sceneries of

Mother Nature enroute Genting Highlands. OIT students will be transferred to hilltop via

Cable Car. Local sightseeing will be provided by noon along with a full fledge

entertainment at the Genting Adventure theme park. Upon dinner students will be

transferred back to Kuala Lumpur. First World Hotel will be visited as a part of OIT

Day 3: Upon breakfast OIT students will be picked up from the hotel in the morning and

will be headed towards Shah Alam for factory visits. Major production units, golf clubs,

TPM, Glenmarie car service centers, MNC offices will be covered during the day. The day

ends at the hotel upon dinner.

Day 4: Upon breakfast OIT students will be picked up from the hotel in the morning and

will be headed towards Cyberjaya. MDEC office and MMU are major attraction of this

day’s tour. A ride will be provided along Cyberjaya Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC).

Towards noon, students will head to Putrajaya- the financial capital of Malaysia for

sightseeing and lunch. Mines Shopping Mall will be the day’s final attraction. The day

ends at the hotel upon dinner.

Day 5: Upon breakfast OIT students will checkout of the hotel. Students will be

transferred to the LCCT airport. Enroute the airport, F1 Racing Circuit will be a major

attraction for stopover and for some cool photo memories! The OIT team needs to report

at the airport early to avoid any unforeseen difficulties at the airport.

Note: The above itinerary is a rough outline and specific itinerary for universities/colleges will be generated upon mutual consent of both

parties.
