Christianity on Homelessness • 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross
is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God
• 1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
How can we motivate both believers and on believers to follow Christ?
• Lead by example. To both believers and non-believers, which covers human bean and pea, history shows that those who respond well to a cause do so after seeing a visual of an example. If this is your calling, then you must find a way to be an example to those in your church and community.
• Remember, the church is not the building, but the body of believers that us it to assemble. Appeal to the human not corporate image.
• The key word is community. The Vancouver model is not a national example for if it were it would not have worked. It is a local model.
