WHAT IS OVERBASED CALCIUM SULFONATE?Overbased Calcium Sulfonate (OBCS) grease sets itself apart from other grease thickeners due to its exceptional corrosion protection, high dropping point and mechanical stability characteristics. OBCS functions across a wide variety of heavy-duty applications (e.g. Construction, Mining, Commercial Marine, Food Processing) due to the thickener properties that handles extreme pressure, wide temperature range and water washout resistance. It contains no additives such as lead, antimony, and zinc making it more environmentally friendly vs. other thickener packages.
