Student Mini SessionsMonday, August 30th

Schedule:

-Parent needs to provide transportation to school ONLY and stay for the entire mini session and your child will go home on the bus.

I will be in front of the school to get the kids as they enter the school the first few weeks of school. I will also put them on their buses at the end of the day.

Your child must ride his/her bus unless a note is received.

• Students begin the day by signing in and responding to a question of the day. In this way students practice letter recognition, printing, name recognition, understanding print carries meaning and directionality on a daily basis.

• Medications-Medications must be brought to school by an adult and given directly to the school nurse. Please do not send the medications in the student’s bookbag.

• Giving Tree-Outside our classroom there is a “Giving Tree.” Throughout the year it will be filled with apples. The apples will have names of supplies the classroom needs.-How do I get the apples?

1.) You can take them off the tree when you

are in the building.2.) You can send in a note with your child.
