Farrier’s Yard is a 6 floor modern office building that forms part of the larger office development, The Assembly. The building benefits from an impressive double height reception area with access to secure underground car park and numerous bike racks. Current tenants include Tinopolis, Yoobic, South African Airways and Clic Sargent and there is an Eat 17 grocers at the front of the scheme.
At the front of the Assembly is sculptor, Alex Chinneck’s new piece ‘Six Pins and A Half Dozen Needles’. The surrealist installation reaches a height of 20 m, and weighs 10 tonnes. The installation is designed to appear as though the building’s red brick façade has cracked in half. Chinneck intended the split to resemble a page ripped from a book.
