Quinta da Bouça D’Arques is situated in the Rio Neiva valley. It has vineyards to the south, woodland to the north and a XVIII century manor house that opened as a guesthouse in 1996, following the renovation of its old agricultural features.It has belonged to the Abreu Teixeira family for more than three centuries. Here you’ll find the traditional, classic décor of Minho manor houses alongside the rustic-chic and contemporary, as well as architectural design that has been evolving since 1996.

Three great experiences that we suggest are the gas-tronomic route, cultural activities and sports. In this region, you can eat amazing food at superb restaurants: fish, sea bass cooked with seaweed baked and grilled lobster (a dish from La Guardia, Spain)- a dish not to be missed, as well as the rich regional cuisine.Visit the cultural centers of historical Viana, Ponte de Lima, Guimarães and Braga, whether for a day tour, we recommend Santiago de Compostela and Porto.

Take the A28 in Oporto to Viana, take exit 21 - Braga / Barcelos - on the N103. Continue to the roundabound and join the N13 following signs towards Viana.Carry on for 4 kms and turn right at the sign for Barroselas / Vila Verde. In 5 kms you will reach Vila de Punhe. Look carefully, as in the village you will find the blue plaque on the left hand side of the House of Bouça. After about another 1 km, turn right at the sign and follow the road. The House of Bouça will be in front of you, before the second gate.
