DESCRIPTION
Two Government Contractors blur the line between work and home life as they assist in-field government black-op missions until one mission hits too close to home. This is my second pilot that I'm developing into a first season.TRANSCRIPT
TEASER
INT. FLOWER SHOP - DOWNTOWN - DAY
The back room of MOM N’ POP flower shop. Stacks of thin green paper, buckets of additives, pots of flowers line the back room.
A modest desk in the corner overlooking the ALLEYWAY. An OPEN SAFE shows thousands of dollars untouched.
A HANDSOME FBI AGENT, chiseled features, dark hair combed perfectly, dressed casually.
His eyes focus on the TINY TRINKET in his hands. A small SQUARE OF WHITE DOUGH centered on a black plastic base that houses a detonator.
REVEAL a pair of MEN’S LIFELESS LEGS peaking out from beside the desk.
The Agent has an EARPIECE secured in LEFT EAR. It could easily pass as an iPhone earbud. A voice starts talking to him.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Two minutes, Alpha-8.
ALPHA-8Just finishing up, Operator.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Do it.
Alpha-8 peels back an adhesive and sets the WHITE DOUGH underneath the desk and stands.
The FRONT DOOR CREEKS OPEN, knocking the bell over the door. Alpha-8 turns and stands quickly at the sound.
ALPHA-8We’re closed!
MALE VOICE (O.S.)What was that?!
ALPHA-8(whispering)
Nothing...
MALE VOICE (O.S.)No, that was something. Tell me, Alpha-8.
ALPHA-8(whispering)
Going dark, Operator.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)(slowly muffled out)
Don’t you turn me off --
Alpha-8 pulls his EAR PIECE out and lets it dangle at his shoulder.
Out of his holster Alpha-8 pulls a GLOCK 9mm and points it at the ready, finger off the trigger.
ALPHA-8I said we’re closed!
MALE VOICE (O.S.)(muffled)
No killing!
Alpha-8 quietly steps into the next room, the floor boards CREEK under his feet and he stops -- the front door LOUDLY slams shut knocking the BELL above the door.
Alpha-8 turns the corner to -- NO ONE. The front room is empty.
MALE VOICE (O.S.) (CONT’D)(muffled)
I told you to lock the front door!
Alpha-8 puts his ear piece back in. A vase of ROSES perch on a cabinet. Alpha-8 leans in and takes a long deep inhale of the flower smiles a little.
MALE VOICE (O.S.) (CONT’D)What did you do?
ALPHA-8Nothing. They left. No one’s here.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)So, listen, man. I’m your conscience here, for all intents and purposes, so don’t ignore me again, okay?
(beat)Can you here me now!
ALPHA-8I don’t have a choice but to hear you.

Alpha-8 walks back to the desk and finishes his job.
ALPHA-8 (CONT’D)Piece is set, eyes are on the prize. What else do I need to do?
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Did you close the window like I asked?
ALPHA-8No...
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Then close the window and get out of there.
Alpha-8 closes the window and latches it shut and walks towards the front door.
ALPHA-8Is this a --
MALE VOICE (O.S.)I’ll remote after you exit.
EXT. FLOWER SHOP - DOWNTOWN - MOMENTS LATER
Alpha-8 slips in the other EAR BUD and closes the door behind him, knocking the bell above the door.
A SOCCER MOM in her early 40’s approaches the door and tries to go in. Alpha-8 holds up his hand STOPPING her in her tracks.
ALPHA-8I think they’re closed.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)What?
SOCCER MOMBut you just came out of there.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Get rid of her. I’m not kidding. Right now.
ALPHA-8Yeah, I didn’t see anyone in there, so...

SOCCER MOMIs the door open?
ALPHA-8Yeah, but --
SOCCER MOMThen I’m going in.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)What is she doing?
ALPHA-8Suit yourself, lady.
Alpha-8 walks away down the sidewalk away from the building as the Soccer Mom enters the Flower Shop, knocking the bell above the door.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Did she go in?
ALPHA-8Yeah.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)She get a good look at your face?
ALPHA-8Yeah.
Without HESITATION the Flower Shop EXPLODES; plumbs fire and debris BLOW OUT of the windows into the street. Black smoke pours out.
Alpha-8 doesn’t look back.
Car alarms BLARE OUT as people start running out into the street, looking out windows, screaming for 9-1-1.
MALE VOICE (O.S.)Anyone else see you?
ALPHA-8Not anymore.
INT. THE OFFICE - DAY - CONTINUOUS
REVEAL: ADAM SVETKEY, (35/Plain clothes/jeans/Average Joe nerd), as MALE VOICE.

ADAM SVETKEYAlpha-8, this concludes your operation. Per usual, you are required to report to your senior advisor and relinquish all mission items back into inventory.
(beat)Have a nice day.
ALPHA-8 (O.S.)See ya later, Operator.
Adam DISCONTINUES the call.
He BREATHS out heavily, taking his headset off and setting them down on his station.
NORMAN AMBROSE, (33/impeccable taste in clothes/uptight/handsome), turns away from his station and shakes his head.
NORMAN AMBROSEDamn.
ADAM SVETKEYYeah....
(sighs heavily)Yeah...
END TEASER
EXT. SVETKEY HOME - NIGHT
The front door opens to an empty house. No wife. No pets. No plants.
As Adam turns on the lights, one by one, we see a perfectly furnished, new age house. Black leather couch and matching recliner. End tables made of Oak. Flat screen tv with surround sound and a full bar.
A bachelor lives here.
Adam’s CELL rings. He pulls it out and looks at it, thinks about answering it and sets it back down.
He flicks on more lights, as bright as he can get the house to be.
In the kitchen a line up of alcohol: Vodka, Rum, Whiskey, Bourbon, Scotch, Gin, etc. He picks one up and takes a long pull from the bottle and sets it back down.

He picks up another one and does the same thing.
Finally his phone VIBRATES with a new message. He puts it on speaker.
MATHILDA, (30/French/ex-wife).
MATHILDA (O.S.)Adam, it’s Mathilda. Your baby is trying to kick it’s way out of my belly and I don’t know how much longer it will stay in here.
(beat)You need to call me back, okay? I want to know how you are. Are you well? Will you do that, please?
(beat)I have a doctors appointment that you need to be at. This is important to me. Please. Day after tomorrow. 1 PM, okay? Please?
(beat)Okay. Bye-bye.
She hangs up.
ADAM SVETKEY(choking back tears)
Jesus...
He pours himself a PINT GLASS of wine and walks into the living room, sitting on the couch.
He SHUTS his eyes. The Soccer Mom’s face FLASHES and he opens his eyes again.
INT. AMBROSE RESIDENCE - NIGHT
Norman walks into a warm home. His wife BETHANY,(31/tall/dark hair/gorgeous), has dinner out and waiting for him. Very 1950’s in feeling.
She SAUNTER’s up to him and lovingly kisses him.
BETHANY(smiling)
Hi.

INT. AMBROSE RESIDENCE - DINING ROOM - NIGHT
They eat in silence. Candles are perfectly in place. A vase of FLOWERS sit in the middle. Bethany breaks the silence.
BETHANYHow was your day?
NORMAN AMBROSEIt was good. You know -- slow day, but good.
Back to silence as Norman takes a bite of dinner. His gaze lowers and he looks at her low cut top which reveals deep cleavage.
INT. BAR - NIGHT
Adam walks in and pat’s ERIK VEIS, (41/tall/built), on the shoulder and sits next to him.
ERIK VEISAdam!
ADAM SVETKEYYeah, you know... fine.
ERIK VEISWhat?
ADAM SVETKEYWhat?
ERIK VEIS(laughs it off)
You okay?
ADAM SVETKEYYep. How are you?
ERIK VEISBetter than you, apparently.
Adam rests his elbows on the bar and closes his eyes. He doesn’t have to order, his drink just SHOWS UP.
ERIK VEIS (CONT’D)You’re already a little drunk, aren’t you?
(looks around)

(MORE)
Don’t let Len see you like that. Sit up, man.
Adam sits up strait in his chair.
ERIK VEIS (CONT’D)He’s not going to serve you like this.
ADAM SVETKEYYou don’t have to worry about me.
ERIK VEISI bet you I do.
(beat)Who else will...
ADAM SVETKEYErik, I love you, man, but... really... I’m fine. Okay? Please?
ERIK VEISYou should be treating your body like that. That’s all I’m saying.
ADAM SVETKEYYou shouldn’t be telling people what to do at your age, okay? I’m just sayin’....
ERIK VEISAlright, man. You know what you’re doing.
ADAM SVETKEYEhhh.... Jury’s out on that one.
Adam drinks quickly and finishes.
INT. AMBROSE RESIDENCE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Norman watches TV, stretched out on the couch.
Bethany walks in and stands under the archway. She DROPS a LEASH into FRAME.
BETHANYTime to take the dog for a walk.
NORMAN AMBROSE(hesitant)
I’m tired, baby... not tonight, okay? Can you just go alone?

ERIK VEIS (CONT’D)
She DROPS her ROBE. She’s wearing some very REVEALING LINGERIE. She’s got that sexy librarian thing going for her.
BETHANYI said... I want... to take... the dog for a walk.
Norman looks up at her.
The SOUNDS of heavy house music: THUMP-THUMP-THUMP-THUMP -
INT. LOUD NIGHT CLUB - NIGHT
Norman and Bethany, both dressed very well, walk into the PACKED CLUB and pus past people. Then men look at Bethany and the women look at Adam.
The THUM-THUMP-THUMP-THUMP makes it hard for talking. Over the music they try and communicate by yelling.
BETHANYWhat about her?
Norman takes a short, uninterested look at the woman.
NORMAN AMBROSENo!
They walk further in.
BETHANYHer?
NORMAN AMBROSEToo short.
Bethany LOCKS eyes with a BEAUTIFUL 21 year old, who looks back, smiles and chews on her drink’s straw, seductively.
BETHANYHer.
Bethany leaves Norman’s arm and walks over to the GIRL, walking past groups of men OGLING them both.
She stops in front of the girl and without missing a beat slips a hand through her hair and grabs the back of her head, kissing her deeply.
The MEN surrounding them CHEER loudly as Norman watches.

Bethany turns them around and opens her eyes and winks at her husband.
Norman smiles.
INT. AMBROSE RESIDENCE - BEDROOM - NIGHT
ANGLE OVERHEAD: Norman and Bethany sleep, Bethany draped over Norman. They are nestled up against each other. PULL BACK to reveal the 21 Year Old girl on the other side of the bed, searching for covers.
Norman’s PHONE VIBRATES and illuminates the dark room.
He awakens quickly, grabbing it. His quick movements wake Bethany.
BETHANY(tired)
What’re you doing...?
NORMAN AMBROSEI gotta go.
BETHANYWhat... now?!
NORMAN AMBROSEYeah, right now. It’s a work thing.
BETHANYYou’re boss sucks.
NORMAN AMBROSEIt’s a thankless job, but it pays really well. And you like that.
BETHANYI do like that.
Norman slips into some pants.
BETHANY (CONT’D)Do you trust me here all alone with her?
NORMAN AMBROSE(smiling)
No.

INT. BAR - NIGHT
Adam and Erik sit in a booth talking. Adam’s phone VIBRATES and he quickly picks it up.
ERIK VEISWhat?
ADAM SVETKEYJust some work shit.
ERIK VEISWhat does that mean?
ADAM SVETKEYThat means... that my work’s shit.
ERIK VEISYou leaving?
ADAM SVETKEYHave to.
ERIK VEISCan you drive?
ADAM SVETKEYI have a license... does that count?
ERIK VEISHey --
Erik stops Adam and grabs his arm.
ERIK VEIS (CONT’D)No,man, you’re not driving.
ADAM SVETKEYYeah I am. I gotta go to work.
ERIK VEIS(standing up)
No you’re not.
ADAM SVETKEYCan you just -- like -- give it a rest? I’m fine! I can get home on my own!
ERIK VEISYou’re going to work.

ADAM SVETKEYI know!
ERIK VEISGimme the keys.
ADAM SVETKEYI’m fine!
Erik is imposing standing over Adam...
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)You’re really big, did you know that?
INT. THE OFFICE - NIGHT
Norman walks up the sidewalk in a custom PEA-COAT.
A Yellow Cab pulls up and Adam stumbles out into the gutter, gets back up and pays the cabbie.
ADAM SVETKEY(to the cabbie)
Thank you!
JANE SMITH (O.S.)He okay?
JANE SMITH, (30/blonde/no nonsense).
NORMAN AMBROSEI don’t know, doesn’t look like it.
ADAM SVETKEYI was supposed to have the night off, so yes, I don’t look like what now?
NORMAN AMBROSEJane, will you make us some coffee?
INT. THE OFFICE - NIGHT
Jane flips breakers on as she walks through.
NORMAN AMBROSEYou talk to Mother?
ADAM SVETKEYNope.

JANE SMITHAll I heard was the contract was in New Mexico. Albuquerque , I think.
NORMAN AMBROSEAre we wired in already?
JANE SMITHGetting there.
ADAM SVETKEYAre we getting coffee?
(beat)Does anyone else smell coffee?
JANE SMITHYes, Adam! I’m making you coffee!
ADAM SVETKEYShit, you’re making it? Can’t we just get some Starbucks or something?
Jane rolls her eyes.
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)Are you single?
She pours a cup and hands it to Adam a little roughly and splashes some hot coffee on his bare hand.
JANE SMITHHere’s your Starbucks.
ADAM SVETKEY(smiling wide)
Thanks, Jane!
Adam and Norman walk into their office. Norman walks up behind Adam and leans in closely.
NORMAN AMBROSE(whispers)
Hey, are you okay to do this? I can take point. If you want.
ADAM SVETKEYWhy is everyone asking me that today, I’m fine!
Adam pats Norman, reassuringly, on the back and winks at him.
They both JACK IN to their separate stations.

ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)You in?
NORMAN AMBROSEYeah. Go.
Adam slips his HEAD PHONES on and cracks his KNUCKLES. They don’t pop.
ADAM SVETKEYThat’s weird....
NORMAN AMBROSEWhat’ weird?
ADAM SVETKEYMy knuckles didn’t crack when I did the “hacker stretch” thing.
NORMAN AMBROSEHey! Sober up as fast as you can!
ADAM SVETKEYDude! I’m completely sober, okay?!
NORMAN AMBROSE(harsh whisper)
You’re mic is hot!
ADAM SVETKEY(covering the mic)
Shit...
Norman looks at his computer screen when a PROMPT WINDOW POPS up. He jots down the information and hands it Adam.
The slip of paper says: OCTOBER SKY
Norman nods and points to Adam as he flips a switch and waits for a BEAT.
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)October Sky?
Nothing.
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)October Sky?
A LONG TAUT pause as they wait for the RESPONSE. A quiet crackle and then:

OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)November Rain.
ADAM SVETKEYOctober Sky, I’ll be your Operator for the remainder of the evening, what seems to be the problem?
Norman types away and brings up different windows on his screens: Surveillance footage, live feeds, Google Maps of Albuquerque .
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I’m stuck in the mens bathroom on the bottom floor of the complex. Eastern room. Off the main hallway.
ADAM SVETKEYWhat’s the problem, O.S.? I can’t help unless I know what’s going on.
Norman SLAPS Adam’s arm. Adam turns quickly covering his mic to see Norman silently asking “what the hell are you doing?!”
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)(covers mic/whispers)
What?!
NORMAN AMBROSEYou need an origin code!
Adam turns quickly, fuming at his mistake.
ADAM SVETKEY(angry at himself)
O.S., what’s your origin?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Seriously? I’m in some shit right now.
ADAM SVETKEYProtocol, O.S. I need it right now or I pull the plug. I’ll proceed after authentication.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Jesus! 108-A15-1138. Denmark. Under pressure here.
Norman types in the access code quickly and gets a response in seconds. Norman gives a thumbs up.

OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I have an unknown contact that I need processed.
ADAM SVETKEYHostile?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Yeah, you could say she was hostile.
ADAM SVETKEYCan you get me a picture? I need eyes on her.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Yeah. Hold.

An E-MAIL pops up on Aaron’s screen. He downloads it quickly: An UNCONSCIOUS WOMAN in a black dress on the floor of a bathroom stall.
ADAM SVETKEYIs she dead, O.S.?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)No.
ADAM SVETKEYAny sort of I.D.?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)If she had an I.D., Operator, I wouldn’t be calling you, would I?

NORMAN AMBROSESending it over.
Norman sends the picture over to Adam’s screen.
Adam pours over the high-def picture.
ADAM SVETKEYOh, she’s kinda pretty...
Norman SCANS the picture into another window program that ISOLATES particular parts of her features.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)She’s due back in 7 minutes, Operator.
ADAM SVETKEYI don’t have a match for her yet, O.S. Hold tight.
NORMAN AMBROSEI’ve seen her before...
ADAM SVETKEYWhere?
NORMAN AMBROSEJust a sec...
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)6 minutes!
ADAM SVETKEYGimme a fuckin’ break, O.S.!
WE HEAR THE DOOR OPEN TO THE BATHROOM on October Sky’s side.
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)What the fuck...?!
Adam and Norman both tense up.
ADAM SVETKEYIs there a problem?
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)Is she fucking dead?!
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I don’t know, man!

OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I didn’t do anything!
Norman scrambles to pull up a VIDEO FEED off the surveillance cameras. A BANQUETTE HALL full of people pops up.
Another video feed is pointed down a long HALLWAY just off the banquette floor leading down to the bathrooms.
ADAM SVETKEY(calmly)
Tell him that she had an allergic reaction. Something she ate. Tell him to go and call an ambulance outside. Do it now, tell him!
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)She must’ve had an allergic reaction! Go call an ambulance! GO!
On the HALLWAY video feed the Concerned Citizen WHIPS OPEN THE DOOR and runs out and down the hallway.
Follow the Concerned Citizen through the crowded banquette floor on a different feed.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.) (CONT’D)5 minutes!
As the Concerned Citizen heads outside he pulls out a CELL PHONE and dials.
Norman patches a call through to his head seat.
NORMAN AMBROSE9-1-1, what’s your emergency?
Norman gives a thumbs up to Adam.
ADAM SVETKEYO.S., we have the 9-1-1 call. You’re in the clear.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I need you to keep him on the line, I don’t want him coming back in here. Copy?
ADAM SVETKEYCopy.

CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)Some chick had an allergic reaction or some shit! She’s laying on the men’s bathroom floor! She’s not waking up! Do you think it’s, like, coke or something?
NORMAN AMBROSEYou can’t have an allergic reaction to cocaine, sir. What did she come in contact with?
CONCERNED CITIZENHow the hell should I know! Should I go ask?
ADAM SVETKEYO.S., is there a lock on the door?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Yeah.
ADAM SVETKEYLock it! Now!
NORMAN AMBROSESir, if you stay outside, it would help our EMT services find you faster, alright?
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)Are you even sending one? I don’t hear any sirens or anything.
NORMAN AMBROSEYes, sir, I’ve already dispatched an EMT unit and they’ll be there shortly.
(beat)Was anyone else with her?
ADAM SVETKEYO.S., did he see you?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Ugh...
ADAM SVETKEYO.S., did he see you?!
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)I don’t know, some fuckin’ guy, I guess.

OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Um, back was turned, Operator.
ADAM SVETKEYYou’re sure?
NORMAN AMBROSECan you tell me what he looked like?
ADAM SVETKEYHey! Are you sure?!
NORMAN AMBROSEAnything at all would help, sir.
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)No...
(beat/more assured)No.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Back was turned. All he got was hair.
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)Hey, man! How much longer?! I don’t hear any sirens.
Norman pulls up a CAMERA FEED form a traffic light and watches the Concerned Citizen pace wildly back and forth.
Another window brings up an ATM feed from a different angle.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Four minutes, Operator!
A window POPS up with the mystery woman’s face. A picture off of an OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT BADGE: Anna Anderson.
A RED CIRCLE with the words “RED LETTER A” is printed inside under her picture.
NORMAN AMBROSE(to Adam)
Got it.
Norman sends it over to one of Adam’s screens.
ADAM SVETKEYO.S., I’ve got a lock on your hostile. Subject’s name is Anna Anderson, no known alias.

(beat)O.S., she’s been branded “Red Letter A”.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Oh shit... I knocked out a D.H.S.?
ADAM SVETKEYWhat were you doing there?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)What?!
ADAM SVETKEYWhat was the meet for?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)That’s classified, Operator.
ADAM SVETKEYI’m here to help you, O.S., why the hell is a “Red Letter A” meeting you?
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I can’t tell you!
NORMAN AMBROSEDisconnect. D.H.S. and a “Red Letter A”? Dis-connect, Adam!
ADAM SVETKEYWere you dropping off or picking up? One or the other, buddy, c’mon!
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)Dropping off! What should I do?! Three minutes!
NORMAN AMBROSEAnna Anderson was “Red Letter A” 6 months ago. Tell him to wake her up and put her into custody! Now!
ADAM SVETKEYI thought you wanted me to disconnect!
NORMAN AMBROSEI do!

ADAM SVETKEYPut her in cuffs, O.S. Do it now! She’s “Red Letter A”.
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)I can’t just put her cuffs! She’s due back!
ADAM SVETKEYWhat were you dropping off?! She’s compromised, what did you tell her?!
OCTOBER SKY (O.S.)That’s classified, Operator!
(beat)Oh, shit....
ADAM SVETKEYO.S.?
A short but VIOLENT STRUGGLE can be heard on O.S’s side.
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)O.S.?!
October Sky’s mic is scrapped on the ground for a moment as it’s picked up again. A TENSE PAUSE before:
ANNA ANDERSON (O.S.)Hello?
Norman QUICKLY looks at the video feed of the Banquette Hall and then over to the CAMERA pointed at the MENS room.
The Concerned Citizen continues to pace with the phone to his ear.
The Banquette Hall feed shows three LARGE MEN suddenly making their way to the bathroom, gently passing the other guests.
NORMAN AMBROSEAdam, goddamnit, dis-connect!
(beat)You got three unknowns proceeding to the bathroom.
(to Concerned Citizen)Sir, are you still on the line?
CONCERNED CITIZEN (O.S.)(agitated)
Yes, I’m still on the fucking line!

ADAM SVETKEYO.S.?
A PAUSE as he waits for an answer...
ANNA ANDERSON (O.S.)O.S. isn’t available.
ADAM SVETKEYIs this Anna Anderson?

On Norman’s Banquette Feed Anna and her company stop in PLAIN SIGHT of all the cameras.

Adam and Norman exchange panicked looks. WHAT?!

The Concerned Citizen outside watches Anna and her three Bodyguards walk out. One of the bodyguards pats Concerned Citizen on the back.

Concerned Citizen smiles and waves at the TRAFFIC CAMERA and walks away with them, snapping his cell into tiny pieces and throwing them away in the trash.

Norman runs to the closet and YANKS the door open.

Norman grabs 3 bottles of BLEACH from a closet and hands one to Adam and one to Jane.
All three and get to work, dousing computers, chairs, desks, windows, coffee mugs, light switches, microwaves, etc. Anything with a fingerprint or fiber.
Jane EXITS.
Norman pulls out his HARD DRIVE and douses it with BLEACH.
Jane ENTERS and sets her HARD DRIVES down with Norman’s and hands off squares of 1x1 inch squares of WHITE DOUGH to Adam.

Norman grabs Janes and pulls her back.
ADAM SVETKEY (CONT’D)Take her downstairs and I’ll be right behind you!
Norman and Jane exit.
Adam rushes back to his station and jams an 8GB flash drive into a port and pulls and drops files into it, waiting for the transfer to complete.
He looks back over his shoulder.
The TRANSFER completes and he yanks it out and puts it in his pocket.
Adam pulls the HARD DRIVE out of his computer and sets it with the others and sets the 1x1 inch white cubes on each of the hard drives.
Backing out of the room, he opens a FUSE BOX door. It’s a safety control box with a flip cover on it. He opens the safety door and hits the button causing the fire sprinklers overhead to start flowing down soaking the entire room.
He backs out carefully not to get any on him.
EXT. THE OFFICE - MOMENTS LATER
Adam, Norman and Jane stand outside across the street and watch as their office burns and EXPLODES.
Norman puts a comforting arm around Jane. She lays her head on his shoulder as the fire burns brightly in the night sky.
INT. HOTEL - EARLY MORNING
The first morning’s light comes over the horizon.
Norman sleeps on the bed. Jane in the other.
Adam sits in a chair holding his head in his hands.

Adam runs to the door and opens it. An OLDER MAN (early 60’s/grizzled features), stands with a heavy duty black trash bag and medical gloves.

Adam goes to the drawer and pulls out a Springfield 1911s (TRP-PRO) gun and two clips and loads it, chambering a bullet.
He grabs a bottle of WHISKEY and walks into his living room, pulling all the shades as fast as he can.
He sits down in his leather chair, setting the Springfield and extra clip down on the end table and takes a long drink from the bottle.
WE LEAVE HIM in the dark living room as the sun tries to creep through the blinds.
INT. AMBROSE RESIDENCE - KITCHEN - EARLY MORNING
LOUD SEX MOANS come from the bedroom.
Norman grabs a glass of MILK and walks towards the bedroom.
INT. TINY SIDE ROOM - MOMENTS LATER
A TWO WAY MIRROR lets Norman watch as his wife FUCKS the Mystery Girl. He turns the light on and sits in a chair.
Mystery Girl pulls out some COCAINE and taps the bag onto her chest. Bethany appears from under the covers and they both GIGGLE.
Bethany takes the line of coke off of her breasts.

Adam flips the safety on his gun and opens the door, grabs the package, pen and paper and pulls them all inside. He signs the paper and throws them both back outside.

Erik and Adam sit in a booth.

His tears streak down his cheek as he gently wipes them away.
