August 17th / Arrival in Split
TBD A personal English-speaking driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals of the airport
for a private car & driver transfer to your hotel. He will be holding a sign with your
name on it.
Split is one of the most visited destination in Croatia. The first inhabitant of Split was the Roman
emperor Diocletian who started to build his palace in this friendly bay around 293 AD. After his
abdication he withdrew to this luxurious palace of about 30 thousand square meters. The following
turbulent centuries made the palace into a town first populated by the citizens of the nearby Salona,
fleeing before the Avars and Slavs.
In the past Split was under Hungarian and Venetian administration, French rulers and Austro-
Hungarian monarchy. This mixture of historic layers brought some clumsiness and some things done
too fast but today all that makes a part of its originality. The ruins of Diocletian's Palace, built between
the late 3rd and the early 4th Centuries AD, can be found throughout the city. The cathedral was built
in the Middle Ages by reusing materials from the ancient mausoleum.
* Travel time: approx. 30min

Cathedral, Vestibul, Peristil and many more. Just relax and enjoy a walk-through history with your
guide.
As a break you will do some olive oil tasting with snacks in an Olive oil bar.
The extra virgin olive oil here is known as the island’s green gold, and it's famed for its subtle flavor
and distinct piquant taste. Ancient Greeks sailed to the island of Hvar some 2400 years ago and planted
vines and olive trees, that is when the cultivation of olive trees and grapes spread across Dalmatia an
influenced greatly the local cuisine.

Boarding on private boat, route Zlarin island
02:00PM You will meet your personal English speaking driver at the Lobby of your hotel for
your transfer to the harbor. There you will meet with your private skipper for your
adventure vacation on board of a private boat.
Your first stop will be to Zlarin Island.
Zlarin is an island in the Sibenik archipelago. Due to its beauty it is called the golden, green and coral
island. It is therefore no wonder that the island was inhabited in the distant past. The church of Gospa
od Raselja, Velika Gospa and the Chapel of sv. Roko i Simun are historical monuments on the island
from 17th century. The idyllic unspoiled natural surroundings, thick pine forests, a variety of beaches
and many hidden small and larger bays will thrill all visitors and tourists. Sailors here gladly return
because of the good moorings and naturally protected harbor. On the island a coral factory is still
working today where handmade coral jewelry is made and sold. Coral diving is the most recognizable
cultural heritage and a centuries-old distinctiveness of the island of Zlarin. Since the 14th century, our
ancestors dove for and harvested corals. And now, just as they did then, corals amaze generations
after generations with their color, and have become synonymous with Zlarin.
* Tour not included, if desired private guide can be arranged, please advise us!
August 19th / National Park Krka and Sibenik
Today you will visit National Park Krka and Sibenik. This day will begin with a short speedboat ride that
leads to the famous Skradinski buk, the largest waterfall of NP Krka. During the guided tour, you can
walk among the many waterfalls and see the stone houses and mills that now form the ethno museum.
To complete this story, the guide will take you to hidden and lesser-known waterfalls that are ideal for
swimming and relaxation.
Krka is a National Park in Croatia. It's known for a series of 7 waterfalls. The largest part of this amazing
river’s course is the national park, which abounds with cultural and historical monuments. The most
outstanding of these is the Franciscan monastery on the tiny island of Visovac, set in the middle of the
lake widening in the river like a precious stone. The area is full of old mills, which have been
transformed into small ethnographic museums where one can see how wheat was ground in the olden
days, are a popular attraction for visitors. The tiny river island of Visovac is steeped in history and it is
the site of both a Church and a Franciscan monastery. The one feature of Krka National Park that makes
it different is the fact that swimming is allowed in certain designated areas.
* Included: private guide, round transfers and tickets
* Not Included: food, drinks and items purchased for personal use
* Please note: swimming in the river is possible, but not recommended
After sightseeing of Krka you will continue to Sibenik and discover this city of marvelous cultural and
historical heritage, rich spiritual culture and traditional identity.
Stroll through the city center, boasting with various monuments of historical and cultural significance.
Sibenik was first mentioned on December 25th, 1066 in the grant of King Petar Kresimir IV, which is
why it is also called Kresimir town and is considered to be one of the oldest towns in the country. You
will have the chance to get an insight into the everyday life of Sibenik while exploring its highlights.
Discover just what makes this city on the coast of the Adriatic Sea so special.
The Cathedral of St. James is considered the most important architectural monument of the
Renaissance era in the entire country. Constructed over a period of a century and considered a unique
architectural accomplishment, as it was built entirely of stone, with no other binding materials used.
Its trefoil front façade is what makes it different from other Renaissance churches, as well as the
harmony of its architecture. The Barone Fortress was built in 1646 on Vidakusa, an 80 meters high hill
above the city of Sibenik and along with other three fortresses in the area, it represents a unique
defense system which resisted the enemies of the city for centuries.
* Included: private guide, tickets
* Not included: food, gratuities and items purchased for personal use
August 20th / National Park Kornati
This morning you will depart to Kornati Islands, one of the most beautiful islands of the Mediterranean
coast.
The Kornati Islands are the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean. Nowhere else in this large sea
is such a great number of islands crammed in so little space. Because of ambiguous criteria of the
definition of an island in general, there is no general agreement about their number. Kornati Islands
are a paradise for those who know how to enjoy the natural beauty and crystal clear water. The Kornati
archipelago consists of 140 uninhabited islands, islets and reefs. They are famous for the peculiar
shapes of reefs and crags but particularly for their high cliffs. There are those who claim that the
number of the smaller islands is even greater, since an old saying says: “As is the number of days in a
year, so is the number of the Kornati islands”. The main island Kornat is accounted for the largest part
of the park and the whole island group is named after it.
* Included: tickets
* Not included: guide, food, gratuities and items purchased for personal use
August 21st / Zadar Explore Zadar, town with most beautiful sunset in the world.
Zadar is an ancient Mediterranean port city. The old town, surrounded by walls and towers on a
peninsula, with a new, urban part is connected by a bridge, a symbol of the city. Built on Roman urban
principles, where there are several major longitudinal streets traversed by a greater number of
latitudinal streets, give the city a rectangular shape. The old town is a treasure trove of archaeological
treasures and monuments to the ancient, medieval and Renaissance periods.
Sea Organ, designed by local architect Nikola Bašić, is unique. Set within the perforated stone stairs
that descend into the sea is a system of pipes and whistles that exudes wistful sighs when the
movement of the sea pushes air through it. The effect is hypnotic, the mellifluous tones increasing in
volume when a boat or ferry passes by. You can swim from the steps off the promenade while listening
to the sounds.
The Greeting to the Sun consists of three hundred multi-layered glass plates placed on the same level
with the stone-paved waterfront in the shape of a 22-meter diameter circle. Under the glass
conduction plates there are photo-voltage solar modules through which symbolic communication with
nature is made, with the aim to communicate with light, just like the Sea Organs do with sound.
* Tour not included, if desired private guide can be arranged, please advise us!
August 22nd / Cheese tasting on Pag island
Today you will get a chance to explore Pag, the island with the longest coastline in Croatia. Explore the
narrow streets of town Pag and learn more about its interesting traditions of this Island and taste the
world-famous cheese.
Pag is the fifth-largest island of the Croatian sea. The establishment of the new town of Pag, where it
stands today, happened in the year of 1443. The construction of the modern city was done according
to the architectural and urban plan of Juraj Dalmatinac, a famous renaissance architect.
Gligora Cheese from the island of Pag is a blend of tradition, knowledge and cutting-edge technology.
Proclaimed as the best sheep's cheese in the world, it is a limited product obtained exclusively from
sheep's milk from this island. Its limitation is related to the number of sheep that can freely walk
around the rocky pasture areas and graze on Mediterranean herbs covered in salt. You will be
welcomed to the Gligora family boutique and listen about the story of the best sheep’s cheese.
* Included: round transfers, cheese tasting and tickets
* Not included: food, drinks, gratuities and items purchased for personal use
August 23rd / Bike rental on Losinj
Today you will visit Mali and Veli Losinj and enjoy an authentic experience of this area while biking
around
The island of Losinj is one of Croatia’s most magical hidden gems and the perfect escape for every
season. Where the stars look beautiful like nowhere else, where you breathe with your full lungs,
where waves of Istria, Kvarner and Dalmatia intertwine, and where the last North Adriatic school of
dolphin’s swim happily – that’s where the Losinj Archipelago is located.
There are two protected park-forests on Losinj Pod Javoriin Veli Losinj and Cikat in Mali Losinj, which
maintain their appeal thanks to the systemic forestation in the 19th century. Their effect on the local
climate is manifold – they emit large amounts of oxygen, prevent soil erosion, add fragrance to the
aerosol, protect the footpaths by the sea from excessive solar radiation and winds, and retain a layer
of water below the soil surface. An aesthetically pleasing stroll along the sea is further complemented
by the dense dark green pine-trees that crown the promenade in contrast with the blue sea. Also,
thanks to its rich maritime tradition and famous local captains who were highly respected around the
world and who brought exotic plants from their voyages.
* Included: bike rental (road, e-bike or children bike)
* Not included: transfers, food, drinks, private guide and tickets
August 24th / Discover National Park Brijuni
Today you will enjoy in one of the most beautiful National Parks in Croatia – Brijuni islands. Upon arrival
there, you will meet with an English-speaking guide who will reveal interesting secrets of these famous
islands (group tour, not private).
After a short transfer to Fazana, you will continue to Brijuni via small boat (public transfer). There you
will enjoy in a ride by tourist train, visit to the remains of the rustic Roman villa from the I. century B.C.
in the bay of Verige, and the safari park which breeds the following animals: zebra, Somali sheep, zebu
(the holy east Indian humped ox), dromedary, llama and elephant. For lovers of history the highlight
will probably be a visit to the Church of St. Germain with its permanent exhibition of copies of frescoes
and Glagolitic writings from Istria.
After the tour you will go back to Fazana via small boat (public transfer at 05:30PM), where your
personal driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Rovinj.
National park Brijuni consists of 14 islands that are situated on a 7-km stretch between Pula and Rovinj.
Nature has created quite a little paradise here – a true harmony of flora and fauna, historical
monuments and comfortable hotels.
This group of islands comprising of two large and twelve smaller isles, are strung along Istria’s south
western coast not far from Pula. Their surface area is barely seven km2, but together with the
surrounding sea the total area of the park is 34 km2.
Brijuni are renowned for its nature and the unspoiled Mediterranean vegetation, but the islands also
boast an invaluable cultural heritage dating from the Roman and Byzantine times, which alongside
with the outstanding natural beauty, has made them a popular holiday destination among the world
statesmen and the aristocracy. Veliki Brijun offers accommodation in three small hotels, enabling their
guests to savor an atmosphere of peace while being surrounded by beautiful nature and having the
tourist flurry of Pula within easy reach. The site of the first golf course in Croatia is on Brijuni.
Because of the millennial presence of men on the archipelago of Brijuni, the animal world on the
islands, especially Veliki Brijun, besides the autochthonous species, was enriched by many imported
species that are not congenial to this habitat but got acclimated to it thanks to the almost ideal
microclimatic conditions.

August 25th / Disembarking from your private
boat in Rovinj harbor
XX:XXAM The personnel of the hotel will wait for you at Rovinj harbor and escort you to the
hotel
Rovinj is considered to be one of the most beautiful towns on the Croatian coast because of its unique
appearance and its wonderful natural surroundings. It developed in the tradition of a small fishing
town under the watchful eye of its patron saint, St. Euphemia, with a distinctive form of boat, the
Batana, and the recognizable bitinada songs. Rovinj's architecture resembles Venice's and it is an ideal
place for intimate atmosphere. Endless walkways, numerous islands and beautiful beaches close by
overwhelm you by peace. The expansion of tourism and its mass character allowed a creation of the
famous Riviera’s, wintering-balneological and especially climatic health resorts and spas. Its beauty is
especially valued by artists who painted the most beautiful motifs of this town and exhibited them in
Grisia. Organized on a Sunday in August when the street paved with shiny stone, walls, doors, windows
and blinds get decorated with countless paintings, sculptures, installations and other colorful items –
fruits of creativity produced by artists form the entire Istria, Croatia and beyond.
Arrival at your hotel in Rovinj
Explore Rovinj
Meeting point 10:00AM / Hotel lobby / 3h tour
The old town of Rovinj is a live witness of past times, where confined space led to the construction of
narrow buildings, streets and small squares. The first archaeological traces of life date back to the
Bronze Age, while the Old Town core began to develop in the 3rd century. At the beginning of the 18th
century the city spreads outside the city walls towards the mainland and the channel in between is
buried, forming a peninsula. Discover with your private guide the lower town, the upper town, the
picturesque Carera street, the Bridge Square, the Balbi Arch testifying to the Venetian presence
through the centuries, the historical Montalbano street, artist's Grisia street, the imposing church of
Saint Euphemia with the Saint's sarcophagus that miraculously approached Rovinj in the 9th century.
After the sightseeing portion of the tour, you will do some wine tasting in a local wine bar San
Tommaso. Just relax and enjoy the different sorts of wine with an amazing view of Rovinj’s harbor.
Their vineyards with the total area of 20 hectares are located in the Rovinj region, which is famous for
wines of high-quality and rich taste.
