our family business. Bound by our love of

wine and passion for timeless winemaking

traditions we all work together: farmers,

employees, our winemaker Mitja and

of course the members of the Puklavec

family. Our goal is to make beautiful

Delicious Rosé

This wine is made from Pinot

Noir variety. Characterized by a

wonderful fruity aroma of ripe

red fruits, soft tannins and a spicy

finish. A wine with an elegant

structure and a rich red berries

flavour which is delicious with

grilled meat dishes, lamb and

cheese.

Delicious Red

This wine is a pleasant blend of

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and

a touch of Vranec. Characterized

by a wonderful fruity aroma of

red fruits, soft tannins and a spicy

finish. A wine with an elegant

structure which is delicious with

grilled meat dishes, lamb and

cheese.

Delicious White

This wine is an interesting blend

of Furmint, Riesling, Chardonnay

and Welschriesling. Characterized

by a crisp acidity and a gentle,

juicy taste that goes well with

a wide variety of dishes such as

seafood and salads.

Muscat Ottonel

This medium-bodied, aromatic,

crisp sweet wine has a wonderful

Muscat aroma and goes well

with desserts or simply on its

own.

Sauvignon Blanc& Furmint

This wonderful blend of

Sauvignon Blanc and Furmint

is a fruity, accessible wine,

with layered aromas of lime,

apple, gooseberry and a hint

of spice with the crispy acidity

of Furmint. A wine for any

occasion. Delicious with a fresh

salad or a light meal.

Sauvignon Blanc& Pinot Grigio

This is an interesting blend of

Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot

Grigio. A fruity, lively wine with

aromas of passion fruit, citrus

and red apple underscored by a

surprising pepperiness. A long,

fresh aftertaste that goes very

well with meat dishes, salads and

especially asparagus. Excellent as

an aperitif!

Carbernet Sauvignon& Merlot

This wine has intense aromas of

ripe dark fruits, chocolate, black

pepper and other spices. Soft

tannins and a longer aftertaste

form a very harmonious wine. It

goes very well with grilled meat,

vegetables, roasted lamb and

matured cheese.

Sauvignon Blanc

This wine is a typical fresh

Sauvignon Blanc, a true classic

of the area. This medium-bodied,

mineral wine shows recognizable

Sauvignon Blanc aromas such as

citrus, gooseberries and passion

fruit. Delicious with seafood, fresh

salads, poultry or light seasoned

food. Excellent as an aperitif.

Furmint

This wine is a fresh and fruity

Furmint. A true pride of the area;

well balanced, medium-bodied,

with aromas of white flowers,

citrus, apple and herbal notes.

Juicy and rich flavour. Excellent

as an aperitif, with seafood, white

meat, salads as well as dried ham.

An excellent all-rounder.

Riesling

This Riesling is an intensive,

smooth and crispy wine with a

delightful bouquet of apricot,

citrus and vineyard peach.

Vibrant and lively acidity creates

a juicy freshness in the wine, the

complexity and mineral sensations

make it go well with seafood,

pork, hard cheeses, salads, slightly

spicy dishes.

Demi Sec

This Demi-Sec is a refreshing,

sparkling wine with a delicate,

fine mousse and a hint of

sweetness that charms with its

distinctive Muscat flavour of

roses and lime. Excellent as an

aperitif!

Pinot Noir Rosé

This sparkling Rosé wine is

produced according to the

Charmat method, using the Pinot

Noir grape, resulting in a light,

lively sparkling wine. It oozes

freshness and has an intense

varietal character, with aromas

of red fruit and cranberries. It

goes well with moderately sweet

desserts or simply on its own.

Sauvignon Blanc

This interesting sparkling wine

is made of Sauvignon Blanc

grapes. Produced according to the

Charmat method, this is a very

refreshing wine, with distinctive

aromas of gooseberries, green

pepper and citrus. Try this

Sauvignon Blanc anytime, at any

place with everyone!

The Puklavec family’s love for wine can be tracked back to 1934 in Slovenia.

Martin Puklavec had a vision: to make the finest wines together. This philosophy continues to resonate through the family’s wine making today.

Puklavec Family Wines are driven by the core values of passion, hard work and dedication to quality. Vladimir Puklavec and his two daughters,

Tatjana and Kristina all work together, alongside the other winegrowers, with the determination to continue the pursuit of their (grand)father’s

vision.

Puklavec Family Wines are produced in the heart of Ljutomer-Ormož, a wine area in the Podravje region, in the North-Eastern part of Slovenia.

This area provides the perfect microclimate conditions for grape growing.

The result are elegant wines, crafted with an uncompromising and passionate attention

to detail, beautifully balanced and as expressive as the landscape of our vineyards.
