The Westin Key West Resort and Marina is fortunate to be able to offer you a variety of locations for your wedding including the off-site locations of Sunset Key, Fury, The

Audubon House and Truman’s Little White House. You have the ability to choose which location you would like to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It’s your choice if you would like to host all events in the same location or offer your

guests a variety of Key West’s best features while celebrating your special day!

The Pier

The sunset backdrop on the pier is what brings your décor to life. The open layout allows for you and your vendors to customize and create the atmosphere you want for your wedding. Dance under the stars as you peer through a clear top tent or watch the sun dip into the ocean with festival lights twinkling above you. Perfect for hotter months are tents with liners and chandeliers to provide shading for your guests while they enjoy the view. Our pier is tiled in brick which will provide beautiful rustic accents in your pictures. Your guests will enjoy dancing the night away regardless of their shoe style without incurring the additional expense of a dance floor. We can accommodate your ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception all for as few as 25 people or as many as 250. Enjoy the evening’s events on the pier or combine it with additional locations to create the wedding of your dreams and one your guests will never forget. Welcome receptions and send off breakfasts can also be hosted on the pier.

The Point

Sunset Key Cottages, a Luxury Collection Resort

The Point is a cozy setting on Sunset Key’s beach. It is protected by a sea wall of rocks on one side and a beach gazebo with lush tropical greenery on the other. As the sandy path curves with the island to the Point, you will make your grand entrance into your ceremony with blue water as your background and sand under your feet. On the private island of Sunset Key, make your beach wedding come true whether it’s just the two of you or 120 of your family and friends. You will enjoy the elegance, privacy, and breathtaking beauty of the island.

Poolside – Flippers Pool

Sunset Key Cottages, a Luxury Collection Resort

Sunset Key’s poolside reception is an elegant location with a casual dining experience. After your ceremony at The Point enter your reception and be greeted by tall tropical palms, a cascading waterfall, and an illuminated pool. You and your guests can socialize during cocktail hour around the existing bar while enjoying a steel drum player or acoustic guitarist. Savor the aroma while the chef prepares dinner from the grill before you dine poolside. End your evening by dancing the night away under the stars or the picturesque white lattice. Flippers poolside is perfect for evening receptions or dinners for up to 32 people. Available months for receptions are May through October.

Sunset Deck

Sunset Deck is elevated above the pier on a private roof top designed specifically for the elegant but fun reception. When your guests arrive to the deck after their ceremony, they will be greeted with unobstructed ocean views. The built in bar allows for guests to enjoy cocktail hour and after dinner drinks while not being separated from the fun. When adding festival lighting, you will bring the dance floor to life. Less is more when you have a location as perfect as this. The Deck can accommodate receptions up to 80 people following your ceremony at one of our four location options. You can also host your welcome reception or send off breakfast for up to 100 people.

Paradise Cottage

Sunset Key Cottages, a Luxury Collection Resort

Sunset Key’s one of a kind and most popular cottage is Paradise Cottage. It sits just feet from the main dock on the island. It will not only be where you stay for your wedding (and maybe your honeymoon), but also where you get ready and host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception. Inside Paradise Cottage there are three bedrooms, three and half baths, a large living room, kitchen, and eight person dining table. Outside you have your own large wrap around patio and private beach. From each room enjoy the serene ocean view and access to the patio. When reserving the cottage for three nights, you can host up to 100 people for a limited seating heavy hors d’oeuvres reception, 80 people for a traditional sit down reception, or 30 people for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. To ensure protection from mother nature, we do require and will coordinate the installation of the beautifully lined tent pictured on this page. Yes of course, those stunning chandeliers are included. If you have guests that choose to stay in Key West rather than at Sunset Key, we will also arrange transportation for them to the island for your wedding. Boat reservation times will be prearranged and limited on the resort ferry. Including a private catamaran for transportation gives you the option to host your cocktail hour on the boat.

Truman Ballroom

Our traditional ballroom can be used for any event or combination of events you would like to host. Whether we arrange for it to be used as a primary location or if it is simply used as back-up, you will have peace of mind knowing that your wedding will take place regardless of what mother nature has in mind for your special day. As an added service to our couples and guests, any event that the Westin Key West Resort & Marina hosts or caterers in a outdoor location, we will hold this indoor back-up space in case of inclement weather. Giving you peace of mind and a stress free day. Large enough to accommodate up to 250 people, the ballroom is decorated in earthy colors of browns and mild green. Our neutral decor, dimmed lights, and up lighting will compliment the color scheme you have selected for your special night.

The Garden

Sunset Key Cottages, a Luxury Collection Resort

The Garden at Sunset Key is a lush area filled with tall palm trees, blooming flowers, and green grass. The brick paved pathway adds as a perfect accents for pictures. The Garden is surrounded by cottages and a white picket fence creating a romantic private location. This is an ideal location for cocktail receptions after your ceremony at The Point. Adding a few cocktail and cabaret tables is all that is needed to bring this area to life. Another option for The Garden is a ceremony. Whether scheduled in the garden or used on a windy day, the Garden has all the tropical charm one could ask for.

Latitudes

Sunset Key Cottages, a Luxury Collection Resort

Latitudes is the recipient of countless awards and acknowledgments from industry leaders. Located on Sunset Key, Latitudes offers indoor, patio, and beach seating. From your table you will be able to look through tiki lanterns that line the beach. All seats from the restaurant have a sunset view. For ceremonies of 20 or less we can host your dinner reservation after your ceremony at The Point. The white linen, elegantly crafted décor, and relaxing views will make for the perfect evening for your guests. Parties of 11 to 20 are a perfect fit for our semi private room referred to as the Hemingway room. Since we will be hosting other diners, we do require that all music, photography, and décor be limited to your ceremony location only. Weddings that wish to host a private reception at Latitudes have the ability to do so. We do require that you and your guests rent all of our 40 cottages. We will then work closely with you to customize your five hour reception from start to finish and secure the resorts premier planning company to handle the remainder of the details. Reception pricing will start at $55,000++ plus additional vendor and planning fees.

Fury Catamaran

One of Key West’s most popular attractions is the crystal blue waters surrounding our island paradise. Sail the tropical waters of Key West on a spacious catamaran while hosting your ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. The warm ocean breeze paired with the magnificent sunset backdrop is something that you and your guests will talk about for years to come. When using the catamaran as transportation to your Sunset Key ceremony your guests will be offered pre-wedding drinks. You can also use the catamaran as an unforgettable cocktail hour on the water and toast to your perfect day in paradise as you watch the sun slowly disappear beyond the horizon. If not a part of your wedding day, invite your guests to join you for the welcome reception the night before the wedding while you sail the Atlantic Ocean. There is nothing better than starting your wedding weekend on the water celebrating with your family and friends.

The Audubon House and Tropical Gardens

Imagine your guests wandering through paved brick pathways among orchid-filled trees, the night lit with the soft glow of antique copper lanterns all while enjoying your wedding. Audubon House and Tropical Gardens, in the heart of Old Town Key West, offers a breathtaking venue for weddings and is just across the street from the Westin. The gardens have been voted “The Best Outdoor Location” for private events in Key West.

We can accommodate ceremonies, cocktail hour, and receptions at this outdoor venue. The back deck of the historic home provides a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony for up to 100 people. For reception only, the gardens can accommodate 130 people. The Audubon House and Tropical Gardens can be used for your evening’s events or in combination with our other locations. For a truly unique experience, the elegant mid-19th century home is available for private tours during the event so your guests can explore the history of Key West and the art of John James Audubon.

Truman Little White House

The tree-canopied, manicured grounds of the Little White House offer a spacious, yet private venue for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception. The three lawns surrounding Truman’s winter retreat can be used together, individually, or in combination with another location. The front lawn, with tall palms and enormous tropical almond trees forming a garden cathedral, is a favorite location for ceremonies. The side lawn, shaded by a variety of tropical shade trees, lends itself to receptions and dinners. The back lawn is an open spacious area that can be tented or left open to the stars. The Truman Little White House is one of the largest wedding locations for ceremonies and receptions in Key West. We can comfortably accommodate 250 people but can set-up properly for a more intimate 50 person wedding without anyone feeling overwhelmed by the space. Whether you choose to host your entire wedding celebration or a combine the gardens of the Little White House with other events, it is an ideal setting to make your perfect day. It is also a great location for your welcome reception.

Invite your wedding party to take a tour of the Little White House! The house is filled with original furnishings that were used by President Truman and reflects the decor of the 1940's and early 1950's. The presidential dining room table is perfect for an intimate wedding rehearsal dinner.

You have the ability to create your dream wedding from start to finish with our unique event venues. Not only can you customize the locations of your wedding but we work with you to customize your wedding package. Imagine hosting your wedding on Sunset Key’s private beach followed by a cocktail hour at sunset on a private catamaran and then a reception on the Westin Sunset Deck. Or you could choose a two hour sunset sail with a selected bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres after an Audubon House ceremony. The possibilities are endless and the Westin Key West Resort & Marina can accommodate your personal one of a kind wedding. Being the only four star full service resort in Key West that doesn’t require or charge extra for wedding planners, we do understand the importance of it!
