OUR VISION

At Gayubo we think beautiful things are made to be enjoyed and relished. Artists live for their work to be admired, singers sing in order to be listened to. We make jewels for you to use and enjoy them, not for them to stay hidden in a box. We work with passion just to be able to see you wear our little pieces of art and show them off anytime you fancy. HISTORY

The Gayubo surname has been linked to jewellery since Alejandro Gayubo opened his atelier in 1965. Since then and with his daughters as managers, Gayubo has become a reference brand for the high end jewellery scene of our country.

Almudena, with an Art and Interior design background, and Pilar, Gemologist, work together not only to offer the best quality in each piece, but also to design and create soulful jewellery, able to surprise and even make you fall in love.

CREATION PROCESS

Design always comes first and is accomplished in a traditional way, sketching using pencil and watercolour until the original idea and concept of the jewel is accurately reflected. Then comes the prototype, made in silver or wax (for the exclusive lost-wax casting technique) and the actual jewel production. After selecting the highest quality materials in their country of origin our atelier starts the most meticulous and distinctive part of the process, handcrafting every jewel, crimping the highest quality precious stones and carving every detail to perfection. Careful selection of gems directly made at the countries of origin (all of our suppliers are sightholders of the Diamond Trading Company, DTC.) Every part of the manufacturing process takes place in Spain, a country with exquisite jewelery tradition. Close monitoring of every process.Ability to quickly adapt our product to international market needs. Commitment to quality and customer service in all phases.

COLLECTIONS

The high quality of every material we use, the creativity behind our designs, plus our unique manufacturing process define our products as unique pieces. All of our jewels are made of 18K gold and precious stones. Both the design and the manufacturing processes are entirely accomplished in Spain. The thorough and handcrafted work in every piece, always under the supervision of both Gayubo sisters, legitimates us to claim we are one of the very few 100% Spanish jewel manufacturers in the country.

Here white gold and diamonds, Gayubo’s identity signs, are allies with the best pearls, but letting the pearls play the main role in this classy collection.

UNIQUE

The pieces of this collection are our particular crown jewels; they have their own character. These unique works, exclusively designed, are inspired on the morphology of some very particular precious stones. These stunning jewels reach a further level on quality and design within the usual Gayubo standards.

VERY BERRY

This collection brings to our mind the images of the forest in autumn, where all tones of berries grow on the bushes. In this collection Gayubo proposes plain shapes on white and yellow gold, trying to combine the warmth of the metal with the juice of the gemstones.

BLACK, PINK, GOLD & WHITE

Set of wedding and half-wedding rings created in collaboration with international soul/jazz singer Desta Hailé. It is the first jewel collection with its own original sound track. The rings are made of four different colours of gold, which confers them a very casual and modern look. The rings are also easily combinable among them.
