DID YOU KNOW?United Way staff manage our initiatives while the more than 40 funded partner programs are run independently by local nonprofits. In total, through initiatives, partner programs, and other projects, United Way has invested $181 million over 95 years in the Racine Community.

The FREE FamilyWize Prescription Discount Card provides immediate savings on prescription medicines with no paperwork or forms to fill out. Simply present the card at a local pharmacy to get the savings.

Imagination Library mails free, age-appropriate books each month to Racine County children under age five to encourage early childhood literacy.

Schools of Hope provides young children with tutors on a regular basis to increase reading achievement in the early grades.

The LIFT (Link and Inspire for Tomorrow) strategy creates partnerships between neighborhoods and resources. It has an integrated focus on academics, health and social services, community engagement, and personal development.

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) provides free tax preparation and electronic filing of tax returns and helps Racine County residents with low-to-moderate incomes claim vitally important tax credits.
