Dividends at therate of 8 per cent. pel' annum on $1,080,000 Class A Preferred Stock, now offered for sale, will amount to $86,400, or s l ight ly over one-fourth theamount of ne t income available for this purpose.

ProtectiGn for Purchasers.At no time since 1913, when the Company was organized under it s present corporate name, has it failed t o p ay p romp tl y interest chargeson all its ()bligations, and dividends amounting to $168,000 a year on it s issue of $2,400,000 of 7 per cent.
