REHABILITATION PROGRAMOur Rehabilitation Program allows us to focus on your individual needs for customized treatment and plan of care. We understand there can be many challenges when recovering from traumatic injury, stroke or serious illness.

We are conveniently located just outside of Silver Spring, in Burtonsville MD. Our professionally trained team will provide the care and services you need, when you need them. This caring community is family-oriented, while focused on providing outstanding care and service. The needs of each patient and resident is important to our team. If you are in need of short-term care, we offer a variety of skilled nursing and rehabilitative therapies. If you are in need of long-term care services, our professional staff will make you feel right at home.

Your therapy success is our goal for short-term stay rehabilitation patients, as well as long-term care residents.Our interdisciplinary team will provide the required support to help the patient regain their previous abilities and integrate challenges into their lifestyle. On-site physical, speech and occupational therapy programs focus on restoring mobility and independence.

RESPIRATORY THERAPYAt Oak Manor Healthcare Center, our respiratory therapy team will work with you to help improve your physical condition. You will also learn how to manage your condition, so you can function at the highest level possible.We specialize in medically complex care by offering multiple disciplines of rehabilitation through physical, speech and occupational therapy. At Oak Manor Healthcare Center, we offer special concentrations of rehabilitation care.

We are able to provide an exceptional level of intervention and case management for many of the most complex rehabilitation care needs:

LIFE ENRICHMENTWe offer a range of creative activities with the individual’s lifestyle and personal history in mind. Our life enrichment team members understand how important engaging social activities are to supporting quality of life for our loved ones. Social interaction is encouraged for every resident.

RESPITE CAREHere when you need us. Respite Care is available to provide the continuation of care needed, when the primary caregiver is away. Respite Care is available for a few days or as many as (30) thirty days.
