Our Scitech Excursion

In week four rooms 12, 13, 14 and 15 went on an

excursion to Scitech and we learnt and discovered

new things that we didn’t know.

First, we got to go to the Planetarium and we watched

a fantastic show called Dream To Fly. My favourite

part was how they built all the flying machines.

Next, we got to do the Ingenious Exhibition and we

got a challenge that we needed to create something

new. The people that helped me were Kye, Chanelle

and Ava,

After that, we had free time and we got to do lots of

things. A lot of the things that I did were the energy

bicycle, I also did the hang glider and it was so

awesome. Then I did the static electricity and it was

also awesome.

Then we ate lunch at the upstairs landing area just

outside the Scitech area.

Finally, we saw a Science Show called Ignite Your

Curiosity. My favourite part was when Miss Chandler

was doing the fire burn hand and when the man did

the fire breathing with the cornflour. When he put the

cornflour in his mouth and he blew it onto the fire and

made a big fire bomb.

When it was time to board the bus at the end of the

day I was surprised that the time went so fast. The

whole day was epic because of all the things that I got

to do. My favourite part of the day was when we saw

the Science Theatre.

I wonder if we will ever go back again.

Our Scitech Excursion

On Tuesday 25th in week four year 2/3 and 5/6 went

on an excursion to Scitech. We learnt and discovered

new things.

First, we were taken into the Planetarium to watc a

movie called Dream To Fly. My favourite part was the

kite part.

Next, we went to the Ingenious Exhibition. My

challenge was the dominoes. We had to make an

animal. It was hard.

After that, we had free time. We went on the lgloo, hot

air balloon, hang glider, drawing robot, static

electricity, factory tower and foam land scape.

Then we ate lunch.

Finally we went to the Science Show. We watched

Miss Chandler put her hand on fire, we watched the

balloon pop, we saw cornflour fire and a melting

balloon.

When it was time to board the bus I was sad that the

day was over. The whole day was exciting. My

favourite part of the day was the Science show. I

wonder if we could go back.

Our Scitech Excursion

On week four rooms 12, 13, 14 and 15 went on an

excursion to Scitech to discover and learn new stuff.

First, we went to a movie called Dream To Fly. The

best part of the movie was the fire dragon that came

out and looked scary.

Next, we went to a room called Ingenious Exhibition

where we had to do a challenge in a group. The

people in my group were Kate, Jack, Lily and me. We

had fun. The best thing that we did was when I could

not make a paper aeroplane.

After that, we had free time and I played with the foam

landscape, a make your own movie machine, a

bubble maker and a slinky game.

Then we had lunch on the upstairs landing.

Finally, we all saw a Science Show. The best part I

liked was when the man got Miss Chandler and put

water and soap on her hand but then FIRE! But luckily

she did not die.

When it was time to board the nus at the end of the

day I was sad. The whole day was epic. My favourite

part of the day was all of it. It was fantastic and

awesome. I wonder how Miss Chandler did not set on

fire.

Our Scitech Excursion

On Tuesday 25th February our class and rooms 12, 14

and 15 went on an excursion to Scitech.

First, we went into the Planetarium and we saw

plane bit.

Next, we did

challenges and

my challenge

was to make a Lego car that could go fast and could

cross the finish line.

After that, we all had free time with our group we got

put in. I did the hang gliding game, I did a computer

game classed Space Invaders, I did the weight thing, I

did the music machine and I had no idea what they

were saying because I was confused and I did the

energy bicycle game.

Then we ate lunch on the upstairs landing.

Finally we saw a Science Show and I was a bit

curious about the cornflour and gas igniter because

cornflour doesn’t catch on fire when the fire touches it

but when the Scietech staff blew the cornflour out his

mouth the cornflour is particles then when he used the

gas igniter it caught fire.

When it was time to board the bus at the end of the

day I was happy. The whole day was awesome. My

favourite part of the day was the Planetarium.

Our Scitech Excursion

On Tuesday 25th of February our class with rooms 12,

14 and 15 discovered cool stuff at Scitech.

First, we went to the Planetarium and watched “Dream

to Fly”. My favourite part was when they had a jet

flight.

Next we made a robot out of cardboard and we saw

the other people’s stuff.

After that, we had free time to play games. My

favourite ones were the bubble machine, igloo

building and the drawing robot.

Then we ate lunch when I was hungry.

Finally, we went to the Science Show. I liked the fire

breathing and I was scared when he set Miss

Chandler’s hand on fire.

When it was time to board the bus at the end of the

day I was confused. The whole day was exciting.

On Tuesday 25thFebruary, our class and rooms 12, 14

and 15 went to Scitech to earn and discover science.

First, we got taken into the Planetarium. We watched

“Dream to Fly”. My favourite part was when we went

down the crow’s mouth.

Next was the Ingenious Exhibition. My group did the

pinball. We had to design a ball to go in the hole.

After that, we had free time. I did the drawing robot, I

learnt about electricity, I built an igloo and I went hang

gliding.

Then we ate lunch. I ate my sandwich, yogurt and

vegemite and cheese saos.

Finally, we had the Science Show. My two favourite

parts were when he set Miss Chandler’s hand on fire

and when he put cornflour in his mouth and blew it out

and burnt it.
