The capital of Spain is Madrid, and it is at thecentre of the

country.

We live in a small town calledCamarma de Esteruelas.

More than 6,000 people live in Camarma de Esteruelas.

We are 50 kilometres farfrom Madrid big city.

Our town is ona plain, surrounded bycereal fields.

Our town is very close to Alcalá de Henares, famous forbeing the birth place of Miguel de Cervantes.Cervantes wrote the world wide known book of “El Quijote”.

This is Camarma de Esteruelas.

These are some important buildings in our town.

This is our church. It was built in the 13th century. It has a mudejar style.It is catholic.

This is our old townhallbuilding. It is in themain square, where

we usually play.

This is the new townhallbuilding.It is in front of the old building.

This is the sports centre. Here iswhere we do P.E. It is beside theschool. We go walking.

This is our main school building. Our school has four buildings.

There are 1.100 students in ourschool. We have kids from 3 yearsup to 16 years old, and our school

has four form-entries. Children from other small towns

come to our school.

I´m Fayna McNulty. I am from Tenerife, but I havebeen living in Madrid for 5 years. I love the nature,

travelling and spending time out with friends.I am an EFL and CLIL teacher and this year, I teach
