Es mados amigos
¡Aquellos que han esperado con tanta paciencia estos úl mos meses para recibir los "Primeros Sacramentos" - finalmente --- van a conseguir su deseo!
En Agosto tendremos 3 celebraciones de Bau smo, 5 Confirmaciones y 14 Primeras Comuniones.
Todos serán afuera, en su mayoría a las 7:30 PM, y algunos el Sábado a las 8:00 AM. Y --- dado que estos deben ser sólo por invitación, esperamos transmi rlos en vivo en nuestro si o web de la parroquia.
(Al momento de escribir esto, la transmisión en vivo afuera, no está disponible, pero cheque más cerca a la fecha) Las Pri-meras Comuniones escolares, están en espera hasta que la escuela abra nuevamente.
Para esta semana tendremos las Primeras Comuniones los Lunes y Martes, y las Confirmaciones los Miércoles y Jueves --- todo a las 7:30 PM. Nuestra parroquia está bendecida!
Todos ustedes han sido tan maravillosos y pacientes. Esperamos --- la posibilidad de tener más Misas externas y tal vez incluso "nebulizadores refrescantes", ... Y tendremos un nuevo miembro en nuestra parroquia, el Seminarista Jorge Tellez, a quien el Obispo Barnes está enviando aquí para una experiencia parroquial. Además, esperamos que el comité de finanzas de la par-roquia revele nuestro proceso para estabilizar las finanzas de la parroquia y aumentar nuestras colectas.

Those wai ng so pa ently these last many months for “first sacraments” are … finally …going to get their wish!
In August we’ll have 3 Bap sm celebra ons, 5 Confirma ons and 14 First Communions. All will be outside, mostly held at 7:30 pm with some on Saturdays at 8am. And … since these must be by invita on only, we are hoping to Livestream them on our parish website. (At this wri ng Livestream outside is not available, but check in closer to me.) School First Communions are on hold ll school opens again.
For this week we have First Communions on Monday and Tuesday, and Confirma ons on Wednesday and Thursday --- all at 7:30pm. Our parish is blessed!
You’ve all been so wonderful and pa ent. Look forward to … the possibility of more outside Masses and maybe even “misters,” ,,, and a new member of our parish, seminarian Jorge Tellez, whom Bishop Barnes is sending here for parish experi-ence. Also, look forward to the Parish Finance commi ee unveiling our process to stabilize parish finances and increase our collec ons

REBUILD, REFRESH, RENEW UDATES: ALREADY DONE: Statue of Our Lady of Fatima has been removed and a new one has been ordered. IN PROCESS RIGHT NOW : Architect is working on detailed drawings for Our Lady of Fatima's new place and prayer areas inside the church. NEXT ON THE LIST: The restrooms in front of the school and new school office. Projects of this size feel like they take forever, and are sooo expensive… but worth it, since we aim to ensure a vibrant Catholic presence here for decades to come.

Dear friends,
Recently we received the unwelcome news that our churches and church offices are to be closed again. Governor Newsom has made this determina on, and Bishop Barnes and our diocese are going along with it.
Catholics are hear ly in favor of civil disobedience if there is a clear moral issue involved. When, however, there is no clear overwhelming moral issue at stake --- and the only thing at risk is my private right to do as I please and not be encumbered or discomforted --- our tendency is to go along with civil authority.
A er all, people will have different opinions about almost anything. If we all reserve to ourselves the final determina on of what is for the common good without reference to others, there will be no end to civil disorder.
HOWEVER … We are allowed to gather outside … in groups of less than 100, with face masks, and observing sani zing pro-cedures.
Keep watching our parish website, as we adjust to changing condi ons and try to make our Catholic prayer tradi ons as available as possible

Recientemente recibimos la no cia inoportuna de que nuestras Iglesias y oficinas de la Iglesia deben cerrarse nuevamente. El Gobernador Newsom ha tomado esta determinación, y el Obispo Barnes y nuestra Diócesis están de acuerdo.

Youth Ministry Welcome Hello Parish Families,
We are so excited that you are seeking to deepen your faith for your child and your family. Faith formation can sound like a technical term, but in a single line we could say faith formation is simply: equipping people to live as disciples of Jesus. That is our hope at St. Margaret Mary’s. We hope to join you on your journey of becoming a disciple of Jesus. This means we are excited to help you and your children:
• Fall in love with Jesus. • Live as disciples of Jesus at home, at work, and in the community. • Develop an understanding of the Bible and the Catholic faith tradition. • Deepen your spiritual life and practices. • Engage in service and mission to the world. • Participate in the life and ministries of our faith community.
Registration
The Faith Formation office has limited office hours due to the Corona Virus. It is our goal to offer you the best service, but for the safety of our employees we have designed an online regis-tration form we would prefer you to fill out. Online Registration Instructions: Go to our website www.smmchino.org then go to the heading “Faith Formation” and below that link click online registration. Clink the big pink button that states “Registration Form”. This form will walk you through the online registration process. Once you submit your appli-cation and send in payment we will send you the details of your student’s class by phone or email in mid August. You can also print the registration form and send it in with payment and paperwork to the faith formation office. If the online registration process is too difficult, then please schedule an appointment with the faith formation office to fill out the registration paperwork in person. Please call the office to schedule your appointment.
Retreats and Extra Materials (Due to possible changes, money will be collected at a later date) For families making 1st communion: $25 workshop fee Confirmation year 1 retreat: $15 per student Confirmation year 2 & 3 retreat: $160 per student / per year
