We are kicking off camp this year with an opening picnic on Sunday June 7 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Camp is Monday, June 8, through Thursday, June 11, from 6:30pm-8:30pm, to include our closing ice cream social on Thursday. Dinner Includes: savory Swiss steak (4oz portion), real mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, applesauce, bread & butter, dessert, punch, coffee, tea or water. Tickets may be purchased at the door or from Greg Townsend at 330.334.0787. Battered Women’s Shelter Shower The UMW is collecting items in the containers across from room 008 and will see that your gifts are delivered to the women’s shelter. The shelter needs: paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, freezer and storage bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, all kinds of disinfectant cleaning supplies for bathrooms and kitchens. Rita Miller Scholarship Applications for the United Methodist Women, Rita Miller Memorial Scholarship are now available at the Information Board in the main lobby and the library. This scholarship is presented annually to a high school senior or graduate to be used for any form of education beyond a high school diploma or GED.
