SAINT OF THE MONTH:

Saint John Paul the Great Patron of Young Catholics

and Families Portrait of the Virtues of

Hope and Love

Dear Jesus, As we meditate on the life of Saint John Paul the Great this month, we ask You to give us the desire to become great saints of the New Millennium as modelled for us in the life of John Paul. May we have the courage to answer the call and step out of our fear and walk with You upon the water. May we love all people without reserva-tion and live with joy and hope in the many blessings You shower on us. We ask for the intercession of this great saint in our lives as we live each day for Christ. Saint John Paul the Great, Pray for us!

Amen

MERCY MINUTE: God never tries us beyond what we are able to suffer. If God sends such great suffering to a soul, He upholds it with an even greater grace, although we are not aware of it. Diary 78
