The Frazer Center, a nonprot 501(c)3 organization, is an inclusive community in Atlanta, Georgia where individuals of all ability and disability gather, learn, and ourish together. Since our founding in 1949, we have helped thousands of children and adults with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bida, Down syndrome, and autism spectrum disorders learn to become as independent as possible.
Our Child Development Program prepares children of all abilities for kindergarten and develops lifelong learners. Our Adult Program, accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), oers educational, work training, and recreational opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Frazer is fortunate to be located on a campus that includes 39 acres of old-growth forest and the Cator Woolford Gardens. In addition to maintaining and renting the historic property for weddings, corporate functions, and other special events, we utilize our beautiful grounds to provide learning and training for adults and children.

THE GARDENSThanks to a bequest from the estate of Charles Crawley and a grant from an anonymous trust, Cooper Sanchez led a garden re-design for a fresh, more formal ceremonial space. Proceeds from the rental of the Cator Woolford Gardens support ground maintenance and programs at Frazer.
ADULT PROGRAMThree of our adult participants joined Executive Director Paige McKay Kubik in completing the My Voice, My Board, My Participation training program through the GSU Center for Leadership in Disability.
Many of our adult participants took part in ve self-advocacy events over the summer, meeting with legislators about the importance of Medicaid.
The adults elected a president of their advocate advisory committee and made recommendations to Frazer on improving facilities and programs.
CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMOur Children's Program, with help from an MBA consulting team from Georgia Tech, took a long look at how we strengthen our services for children with special needs and reach the children who need us most. The result was an increase in enrollment of children with diagnosed disabilities, more special-ized training for our sta, and broader and deeper services to support inclusion so every child achieves their full potential.
VOLUNTEERSOur Friends of Frazer Forest volunteer group continued to grow as our partnership with Trees Atlanta went into full swing this year with the mission of removing invasives from our old-growth forest.
We had 128 individuals from companies such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and Sherwin Williams spend 672 volunteer hours by helping with building, forest, and garden maintenance.
