The Catholic Univ. of America, located in Washington, D.C., is the national university of the Catholic Church in the US. CUA offers students an excellent education in a faith-filled atmosphere that is grounded in the Catholic intellectual tradition.

Some of our own diocesan priests have received education and have specialized in different ecclesiastical courses and are now serving our Diocese.

Next week, September 8, is the National Collection for The Catholic University of America. Every dollar given directly supports aid for students from dioceses across the country, including our diocese. Please be generous.

Back to School – 2019-2020

Long Beach Catholic Regional School is excited to welcome our many new students and welcome back our current students in Grades K - 8 on Wednesday, September 4th. School hours on Wednesday are from 8:05 am – 12:00 pm for Grades 1 – 8; and 9:00 am – 12:00 pm for Kindergarten students. Full days, (8:05 am-2:30 pm) begin Thursday, September 5th. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are encouraged to come with the Kindergarten students on the first day only as a “First Day in Kindergarten” picture is taken with the Parent/Guardian. Pre-K students’ first day will be on Thursday, September 5th at 8:15 am – 11:15 am and/or 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm depending on the session(s) attending for the year. We are delighted to be having our Nursery program filled to capacity, which will open its doors on Monday, September 9th. All parents should mark their calendars for our opening family event – our Back-To-School Fest will be held on Friday, September 6th in our school yard. A delicious BBQ and movie will be provided. (More info to follow) Our Beach Mass will be held on Sunday, September 8th beginning at 11AM. We ask God’s blessings on all our students, families, faculty and staff as we begin what is sure to be a great school year at Long Beach Catholic Regional School. Be sure to visit our school or join us at any one of our Parent Club functions so you too can join us as we Build Strong Minds, Hearts and Spirits here at LBCRS.

Will take place in Bethpage on September 28, 2019. This is an important fund-raising event for the St. Vincent de Paul Society whose charitable works assist many people on our Barrier Island.

September 11th-Meeting: We will be welcoming you back from our Summer Break. Claire Curtin who will be talking about how to encourage your child’s imagination.
