Dear Our Lady of Peace Family, So many of you have loved and supported us through this difficult time, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for the prayers, condolences, cards, let-ters, and food. Thank you for the hugs, phone calls, and of-fers of rides. Thank you for your expressions of love, stories of Dad, and gratitude for him. We know that Deacon Paul touched all your lives, which was evident from the long lines and heartfelt stories. Even though we are sad here on earth, we rejoice that—what he spent his life trying to achieve—he achieved. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Most of all, thank you for your prayers. They lift us up and help us carry on until we see him again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The Family of Deacon Paul Brachle

From Father Walter’s desk… “Thank you! From Deacon Paul’s Family”

WEDDING BANNS

Your prayers have been a tremendous source of healing, empowerment,

enrichment, and prophecies for all of the sick of Our Lady of Peace,

especially those listed below. Join us daily by sharing your spirituality and

prayer devotions for the sick.

ANNIVERSARY WISHES

Remembering Jesus’ Message of Divine Mercy…

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church …

“Obedience for laity is different and perhaps more difficult than for religious, as we do not take vows of obedience to a superior. We are called to be obedient to Holy Mother Church and to do the will of God, which at times can be difficult to dis-cern. We should be like Jesus who took all things

to prayer. Jesus told St. Faustina ‘A soul that loves me very much must, ought to live by My will’…” (Diary, 1023 & EADM Manual)

“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience many will be made righteous” Rom 5:19 (CCC #615) “Sin is an offense against God...it sets itself against God’s love for us. Like the first sin, it is disobedi-ence, a revolt against God through the will...this love of oneself even to contempt of God” (CCC #1850)

It is with joy that we announce the upcoming wedding

Has anyone ever asked you to "BE A FRIEND FOR LIFE OF SOMEONE YOU DON’T KNOW"? - To be a “VOLUNTEER BLOOD DONOR”?

A volunteer blood donor is someone who knows that blood is a truly human resource, and that the only source of this life giving gift is via volunteer blood donors. Volunteer blood do-nors know that every day there are hospitalized patients depending upon blood donors for the blood they need. That every pint of blood they donate will help 3 individuals. On Saturday, July 15th in Our Lady of Peace School Gym from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM you can "BE A FRIEND FOR THE LIFE OF SOMEONE YOU DON’T KNOW" and join your fellow pa-rishioners by donating a pint of your blood. After you donate, you'll know that your donation will be helping to save the lives of three individuals you do not know. If you are 17 years old or older and weigh 110 lbs or more, please play an active role in your parish/community by donating a pint of your blood on Saturday, July 15th.

Please remember to bring a photo ID and eat & drink before coming.

If you have any questions please call Rosemarie Courtney, 630-964-8415 or email her at [email protected].
