purpose of the
Emergency Fund is to
help parishioners and
the community in this special time of need and to
help replenish the Food Pantry. If you are inclined
to make a special donation to Our Lady Queen of
Angels Parish Emergency Fund you could do so
either by mailing a check to the parish office in a
parishioner envelope or you can contribute
through our Parish Giving program. To access our
Parish Giving program, go to the homepage of our
website (www.olqoa.org) and click on the link
there. Once on the Parish Giving website, you can
contribute by creating an account or clicking "Pay
Now". Either way you choose, there is an option
under "Parish Collections" to contribute to the
Emergency Fund. Thank you for your continued

This year, our annual Giving
Trees will benefit some of the
families from our Food Pantry.
Starting Saturday, November 21,
2020, there will be a tree at each
church and each will contain tags
for items needed by the families.
If you are unable to come to one
of our churches but would like to
contribute you can call or email
the parish office and we will pull
a tag for you.
All gifts will need to be returned,
unwrapped and with the tag, by
December 12, 2020. Thank you
for your continued generosity!

2020 Archbishop Annual Appeal
To the extent that you are not adversely affected
financially by the pandemic, please respond to
the 2020 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal as best you
can. Any gift, no matter the size, is truly
appreciated and can make a significant
difference. This weekend is Commitment
Weekend, if you have not made your gift to the
2020 Appeal, please give prayerful consideration
to including the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal this
year in your year end giving, as all gifts can be
paid through December 31, 2020.

A Prayer for Putting on a Face Mask
Creator God, as I prepare to go into the world, help me to see the
sacramental nature of wearing this cloth. Let it be a tangible and visible
way of living love for my neighbors, as I love myself.
Christ Jesus, since my lips will be covered, uncover my heart, that
people would see my smile in the crinkles around my eyes. Since my voice
may be muffled, help me to speak clearly, not only with my words, but with
my actions.
Holy Spirit, as the elastic touches my ears, remind me to listen
carefully and caringly to all those I meet. May this simple piece of cloth be
shield and banner, and may your each breath that it holds, be filled with
Your love. In Your name and in that love, I pray.
