Cuando escuchas esta lectura, ¿qué palabras o frases te llaman la
atención? ¿Qué parte de la lectura apela a tu corazón? ¿Qué
imagen de fe te brinda esta lectura?
Ve tu vida
Pregunta para los niños: Menciona una cosa que puedes hacer o
dejar de hacer que te ayudará a tener una amistad más cercana
con Jesús.
Pregunta para los jóvenes: A veces algo tiene que morir para
que nazca otra cosa nueva. ¿En qué momentos has
experimentado esto en tu propia vida? ¿Qué necesitas dejar ir
ahora para que crezca algo nuevo?

Fifth Sunday of Lent
Week of March 21, 2021
Listen to the Word (John 12:20-33)
As you hear this reading, what words or phrases strike you? What
in this reading touches your heart? What image of faith does this
reading give you?
Look into your life
Question for children: Name one thing you can do or stop doing
that will help you have a better friendship with Jesus.
Question for youth: Sometimes one thing needs to die in order for
something new to be born. When have you experienced this in your
own life? What do you need to let go of now for something new to
grow?
Question for adults: Name one area in your life that you need to
let go of, to die to, in order to rise with new life.
Activities for the week:
Take these activities to further reflect:
Plant flower seeds in small pots, and decorate the pots with
signs of new life. Water the seeds carefully. Watch the seeds
grow with your family. Relate this mystery to the mystery of
Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Talk about ways you are called upon today to “lose your life.”
In what ways are you reluctant or fearful? Pray for the courage
you need to rise with new life.
Select one station of the cross to pray each day. During family
prayer, talk about what happened at that station and relate it to
the difficulties family members face today.
Put a cross in a place of honor in your home. Share with your
family the simple story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. If you
have any small children, review the sign of the cross with them.

Our Lady of La Salette Knights of Columbus Council is
sponsoring a Lenten fish bake on March 26th from 5 p.m. to
8 p.m. for all parishioners. Due to Covid concerns, we can
offer take out only. The menu consists of two fish tacos,
boiled red potatoes, coleslaw and corn on the cob. A
donation to cover costs of $5.00 per person or a maximum of
$20.00 for families of 4 or more is requested. There will be
forms available in the church and parish hall with collection
baskets to return forms that are filled
out, or email

number of meals requested, and a pick-
up time.

The Women’s Book Group will resume
