Sustainability performance

Our Sustainability & Climate Change practice were ‘highly commended’ in the consultancy of the year award at the 2013 BusinessGreen Leaders Awards, having won the award outright in both 2011 and 2012.

We were highly commended twice at this year’s Management Consultancies Association (MCA) awards for our sustainability work.

We’ve been recognised as one of the UK's most responsible businesses in Business in the Community's annual benchmark index, earning the highest rating - for ensuring that our long term vision and strategy builds a more sustainable future.

Environmental performanceCommunity contribution

We achieved the Carbon Trust Standard certificate for the third time this year, for measuring, managing and reducing the CO2 from our offices and business travel.TBC.

We achieved the BREEAM 'Outstanding' rating for sustainable building design, construction and operation at our More London office - the scheme's highest scoring office building in the UK.

We’re delighted to have also achieved a second BREEAM Outstanding rating - ‘in design’, for the refurbishment of our Embankment Place office.tbc

In 2011, we renewed and retained our Business in the Community CommunityMark status for a further three years. This is the UK's only national standard for community engagement.

For seven years, we’ve ranked amongst the leaders in The Sunday Times 25 Best Big Companies to Work For.

For the seventh year we’ve been one of the top 50 organisations where women want to work recognising our commitment to increasing the diversity of our business.

We’ve won a 2013 Opportunity Now Diversity award for our work to boost the number of female partners in leadership positions.

We’re again listed as one of the UK’s top 100 employers in Stonewall’s Workplace Equality Index 2013, the definitive list of Britain's most gay-friendly workplaces.

We've been an accredited UK Living Wage Employer since the scheme’s introduction in 2011. This applies to all of our staff and those of our suppliers who work permanently at our sites across the UK. We’ve been a London living Wage employer since 2006.
