Radial OTR Repairs

Centech Radial OTR Repairs provide maximum strength and flexibility in all service applications. Tech’s Centech, center over injury design delivers superior performance by utilizing Aramid reinforcement and advanced rubber compounding. Centech repairs resist cracking and oxidation in the most extreme conditions.

Centech Chemical Repairs are produced with Tech’s original soft gray cushion gum. This gray gum provides excellent adhesion in hot or cold applications. Use with Tech Chemical Vulcanizing Fluid or Tech Heavy Duty Blue Cement.

Centech Thermacure Repairs are produced with a soft black cushion gum which provides excellent adhesion in hot or cold applications as well as maximum durability. When used in chemical cure applications these repairs should be used with Tech Heavy Duty Blue Cement or Tech Black Temvulc Cement in heat curing applications.

Centech Heat Cure Repairs are manufactured with an uncured rubber bonding layer for maximum adhesion in heat cure applications (260F, 120C). These repairs are best used with Tech Black Temvulc cement.

Centech Cloth-Backed Repairs provide long shelf life and maximum adhesion when used with Tech Vul-gum cushion gum in all heat cure applications.

In heat cure applications over 5 hours, Tech recommends heat cure or cloth backed repairs for maximum repair performance.

Bias OTR Repairs

Tech TOR Bias Repairs are manufactured with a proven design that dissipates fabric end stress to provide maximum strength and flexibility in bias ply tires 60 ply rating and above. Superior compounding throughout the entire construction provides outstanding heat resistance both during vulcanization and severe service life.

Thermacure and Chemical Bias Repairs are recommended for room temperature vulcanization using Tech Chemical Vulcanizing Fluid or Tech Heavy Duty Blue Cement. Thermacure repairs can also be used for heat cure applications with less than a 6 hour cure using Tech Temvulc black cement.

Heat Cure, Cloth Backed and Uncured Bias Repairs must be used with heat (minimum 260F, 120C) and Tech Temvulc cement. These repairs are recommended for heat cure applications with cure times over 5 hours.

Tech SK Bias Skidder Repairs are designed for severe service forestry application. Special rubber compounding and OTR tire cord reinforcement provide a flexible, strong repair. SK Thermacure repairs can be installed in hot or cold applications with Tech Heavy Duty Blue Cement.

Tech TRR and LRR rope rubber are produced with a high quality natural rubber compound which provides excellent extrusion and workability, maximum adhesion to the tire, and outstanding wear and weather resistance. Tech rope rubber is packaged in 15 pound plastic pails for maximum protection during transport and storage.
