Symptom

Using transaction MIRO to post planned delivery costs via option "2 Delivery Note" does not work - system does not return planned deliverycosts items.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Create a PO with material items and planned delivery costs:

2. Create Goods Receipt, filling both fields "Delivery Note" and "Bill of Lading" with different values:

3. Go to transaction MIRO > choose option '2 Delivery Note' > enter Delivery Note number from the posted Goods Receipt > check that onlymaterial items will return:

Cause

l Functionality of getting the right selection when you select Delivery Note + Planned delivery costs is not programmed in the system.l Planned delivery costs are associated with the Purchase Order, not with the goods receipt at the time of MIGO. For this reason, even with the

indicator "GR-Bsd IV" set in the purchase order, there is no effect on the planned delivery costs at the time of MIRO when choosing DeliveryNote option.

Resolution

There are 3 solutions to obtain Planned Delivery Costs items during MIRO processing, which are:

1. Delivery costs for a Purchase Order:

All open delivery costs for the specified purchase order are listed.

Steps to apply the solution: 1.1 Go to transaction MIRO.1.2 Choose option '1 Purchase Order/Scheduling Agreement' .1.3 Choose '2 Planned delivery costs'.1.4 Enter PO number:

2. Delivery costs for a Vendor: All open delivery costs for the specified vendor are listed.You can limit the selection by entering 'From' and/or 'To' dates; the list then only contains the delivery costs incurred after/within the specifieddate(s).

Additionally, please, read SAP Note 360419 that explains "The invoice relates to several purchase orders with different vendors. You enterseveral PO numbers on the Further Assignment Criteria. screen and select delivery cost items. The system displays only the delivery costitems for the vendor of the first purchase order entered. Delivery cost items for other vendors are not displayed.".

Steps to apply the solution: 2.1 Go to transaction MIRO.2.2 Choose option '5 Vendor' :

2.3 Click at button 'More allocation criteria'.2.4 Enter Vendor, Plant and Dates. Here we are only using delivery as Invoice item:



2.5 Click at button 'Adopt':

3. Delivery costs for a Bill of Lading: When goods are received, an external bill of lading number can be entered in the Bill of Lading field - so, you can use this number asreference. The system then lists all the delivery costs for one bill of lading.

Steps to apply the solution: 3.1 Go to transaction MIRO.3.2 Choose option '3 Bill of Lading' .3.3 Enter Bill of Lading number:
