“For one so small, you seem so strong. My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm. This bond between us can’t be broken. I will be here, don’t you cry. Cause you’ll be in my heart, yes, you’ll be in my heart, from this day on, now and forevermore. You’ll be in my heart no matter what they say. You’ll be in my heart always...” Break a leg, boy.

This is one fundraiser whereyou don’t have to buy a thing

Cookie dough. Magazines. Pizzas. Wrapping paper.

You read the above list and probably immediately thought, “Oh no. Not another fundraiser.”

You’re right — and wrong. Last fall, parents who attended an Oshkosh North High School Music Parents Association meeting unanimously agreed to continue holding a non-fundraiser fundraiser. This means that you don’t have to buy things you really don’t want, and then give most of the money to an unknown company.

The Music Parents fundraiser allows all of your donation to go directly to the Music

Department, and be used toward music scholarships offered in the spring, as well as special purchases for the Department. (This fall we spent $1,200 for Madrigal costumes and $1,500 on band uniform bags and replacement ties. That’s on top of the twelve $200 scholarships we’re giving so students

can take private voice or instrumental lessons.)

Every donation is

valued, and you can be as generous as your budget allows. Remember, your donation is tax deductible, and many businesses match contributions. Please check to see if your organization does.

In advance, thanks for supporting Oshkosh North students.
