Description

The 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification Training Program is intended to provide an entry level construction worker's general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. OSHA recommends Safety Certification Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a 10-hour Construction Safety Certification completion card instantly.

Course Objectives

• Recognize the aspects of 1926 Subpart C (General Safety and Health Provisions)• List the OSHA inspection priorities and describe the inspection process• Given OSHA historical events and current information, the student will be able to explain the

importance of OSHA in providing a safe and healthful workplace to workers covered by OSHA• State the purpose of the OSH Act and list the functions of OSHA• Given OSHA historical events and current information, the student will be able to explain the
