Established in 1962, Osborne Park Hospital is a fully accredited secondary hospital providing comprehensive specialist health care services for the north metropolitan suburbs.
As part of the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group, Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) offers patients access to a hospital network that provides exceptional health care services.

With modern operating theatres, procedure rooms, five in-patient ward areas, birth suites and a day therapy unit, Osborne Park Hospital offers a variety of clinical experiences.
Specialist services at the Hospital include rehabilitation of younger and older adults, anaesthetics, general medicine, obstetrics/gynaecology as well as general surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, urology, gastroenterology, ear nose and throat as well as day surgery.

Graduate Enrolled Nurses at Osborne Park Hospital will be given the opportunity to optimise their personal growth and consolidate their clinical practice in a welcoming and supportive environment. This will enable a smooth transition from student nurse to Enrolled Nurse.
Each clinical area also has a designated Staff Development Nurse to support newly graduated nurses during their transition from student to practitioner.
4 Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program
Osborne Park Hospital is easily accessible from the Mitchell Freeway and only 10km from Perth city. There are good public transport networks around the Hospital and free parking is available for staff and visitors.
The Hospital also has a social club and well-equipped staff gym on site. Membership entitles you to participate in social club activities and promotions.

The Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program provides opportunities for recently graduated Enrolled Nurses to strengthen and consolidate their nursing knowledge and skills.
Rotations
Two Rehabilitation and Aged Care rotations with a period of Surgical Day Procedure included.
Graduate Program Inclusions
• Two week supernumerary time is provided for Hospital induction and orientation.
• Monthly graduate education seminars for peer support, clinical and professional development.
• Monthly network sessions to discuss the program and learn from peers.
• Two professional development courses throughout the year.

Graduate Program Inclusions
• Supernumerary period for transition to new area is provided at the commencement of each rotation.
• Annual leave negotiated at the start of program.
• Part-time employment available by negotiation.
• Fixed-term employment for 12 months.
All participants who complete their graduate program are welcome to apply for further employment at Osborne Park Hospital if positions become available.

Intakes
Osborne Park Hospital graduate recruitment takes place once annually (mid-year) for the whole of the following year’s intake. Applications are made via the Graduate Nurse Connect website: www.gnc.health.wa.gov.au.
Graduate programs commence in February and August each year.
