Sheikh Abdulla has extensive experience in managing, developing and setting up industrial production facilities in the building material domain. Sh. Abdulla served as Chairman of Oryx Gulf since 2011.He is a non-executive Board member in First Equity Partners (Bahrain). He is a Board member of FEP Capital (Egypt). He is a key participant in the formulation of the corporate vision and values and setting of the corporate performance goals that are aligned with the directives of the shareholders. Sh. Abdulla holds BA from Ajman University.

Abdullah is a private equity professional with over 23 Years working experience in senior management positions. Currently he is the Group Vice Chairman and Managing Director of State Holding (Qatar), Sr. Managing Partner of First Equity Partners (Bahrain) and Chairman of FEP Capital (Egypt). He is Chairman of Injazat Invest North Africa S.A and Oryx BMNA (Morocco). He is also the Board member of Egyptian Steel, Egypt. Prior to this he was CEO of an investment company in Kuwait and earlier to that he headed the Direct Investments Department in The Industrial Bank of Kuwait. He has been instrumental in structuring various private equity funds, raising debt and equity, originating, negotiating and closing deals, risk mitigation and several corporate advisory engagements. He has a BA in Accountancy, Kuwait University and is a certified Public Accountant from Ministry of Commerce, Kuwait.

Bader is an investment management professional with over 15 years of experience in setting-up new businesses, company turnaround, market/product positioning and financial restructuring. He iscurrently Deputy CEO of State Holding and Chairman of Oryx Mix (U.A.E). Prior to this he was the Deputy CEO of FE Tijarah (Qatar) and earlier to that Sr. Manager of the Post Acquisition Management Dept. of an Investment group in Kuwait. Bader began his career as Credit Officer, Corporate Finance division of The Industrial Bank of Kuwait. Bader has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University Virginia, USA.

Essam has over 27 years of finance and investment banking experience across diverse sectors in MENA region. He is currently the Group CEO of State Holding (Qatar), Managing Partner of First Equity Partners (Bahrain), and Board member of Egyptian Steel and FEP Capital (Egypt). He was previously with an investment group in Kuwait and prior to that with Industrial Bank of Kuwait as Head of Corporate Finance. His experience includes acquisition, post investment management and successful exit of various private equity deals.He has been actively involved from the pre-feasibility stage through growth and expansion for various investments covering building material, manufacturing, natural resources, energy, food & beverage, healthcare, real estate and financial services. He has a BSc in Commerce and Accountancy from Kuwait University.

Mr. Al Maskati brings over 20 years of experience in real estate development and private equity in the GCC region. He was a co-founder of three leading real estate development companies in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He was instrumental in listing Bahrain’s first real estate company on the local stock exchange with a parallel listing in Kuwait. Mr. Al Maskati established a mortgage finance company in Bahrain and setup an asset management firm licensed by the Capital Markets Authority in Saudi Arabia. He has managed both sell-side and buy-side mandates in several sectors such as hospitality and leisure, information technology, education and consumer products, and he is currently a board member in FEP Capital (Egypt). Abdul Wasay, was associated with Orimix Concrete Products as an Executive Vice President and was dynamically involved in Operations, Business Development, Quality & Technical Department. Eng. Wasay, a Civil Engineer by qualification, has substantial practical experience in designing and implementing all kinds of concrete mixes in compliance with BS, ASTM and DIN standards. He is responsible for all technical and quality control aspects of Oryx Group.

Nasser, is the Group’s CEO and the CEO of Oryxmix Concrete Products. He has a rich experience of 24 years in management and finance. Previously associated with Orimix Concrete Products in several executive positions, including Senior Vice president, during his broad career. Mr. Barakat holds Bachelor of Commerce from Cairo University, Egypt.

Ibrahim has 32 Years’ experience in operating and managing quarry production facilities in UAE and Oman, holding various managerial positions including being the General manager of Salbookh Crushers in Fujairah. Birth of a Market Leader

• With nearly 20 years of trading history, Oryx Mix produces ready-mix concrete (“RMC”) products in Fujairah and the Eastern Region of the UAE and supplies a full range of internationally accredited quality assured concrete products.

• The company was initially founded in 1998 in Fujairah under the trade name of Al Hamdan Ready Mix. In 2012, the Oryx Mix brand was launched by the new management team following the acquisition and merger with another RMC producer in Fujairah; Quality Ready Mix.

• Following an extensive investment in growth capital, Oryx Mix expanded into new geographies within the eastern region of UAE and grew its market share considerably, launching new production facilities in Dibba in July 2012 and Bidya in early 2013, giving Oryx Mix a unique geographical spread across the East coast of the UAE, placing it in a prime position to achieve optimum customer reach out and proximity to all new major projects in Fujairah.

• Al A’ali Crushers was established in 2004 after acquiring a quarry concession in Al Hayl region in Fujairah.

• Further acquisition of Al Fahad Crushers in mid 2014, which was rebranded as Oryx Crushers.

• The crushers now have two mining concessions covering an area of 2.8 million m2.

• Al A’ali and Oryx Crushers are amongst the largest and technically most proficient quarry products suppliers in UAE, with the latest technologies, machinery and equipment.

• Established in Fujairah in 2011, Oryx Trading is an intermediary focusing mainly on quarry products trading and acts as a supply consolidator through its strategic alliances with quarry suppliers in Fujairah.

• Oryx Trading is the group’s trading arm that focuses mainly on rock and aggregate trading, leveraging on the flourishing quarry industry in Fujairah that is serving both local and regional supply/demand gaps.

• With a demand for large supply orders from customers in export markets, Oryx Trading established representative offices in Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq and Bahrain, which are existing and growing export destinations for UAE quarry products.

• Oryx Trading has secured a plot in the Port of Fujairah’s stockyard with a capacity of 500,000 tons that acts as a buffer area for stocking the finished products for exporting.

• Oryx Transport has a fleet of brand new trucks and heavy vehicles that are equipped to transport various types of stones.
