They like a dot of glue in the fold that locks the ‘head’, otherwise they pop open easily. If you like to decorate branches with them, thread some thin wire through two pinholes. Fold straight across (color side up) - - TURN and fold diagonally across. Now you can collapse it - - into a triangle base, and press flat. Fold the tips up, towards the top. TURN, rotate and roll tip upwards... ...quite a but over the edge. Fold that tip tightly over the edge. Turn and fold along the ‘spine’. origami easy butterfliesThese butterflies are quick and easy to fold, and you can create some variation by doing inward dents on the wing tips - or leave the tips pointy, without dents.

They like a dot of glue in the fold that locks the ‘head’, otherwise they pop open easily. If you like to decorate branches with them, thread some thin wire through two pinholes.
