Orifice PlateRepresents the most common primary element in the world thanks to its proven technology and ease of installation and maintenance.

DescriptionOrifice plates are the simplest type of primary flow elements.Their bore diameter is calculated to generate the specified differential pressure at full scale flow rate. Suitable orifice plates are available for a wide range of different media.

Restriction OrificeRepresents the easiest and reliable solution to drop down the pressure in a pipe or to limit the flowrate to a fixed value.

DescriptionThe plate thickness is calculated taking the differential pressure and the pipe size into account to whithstand mechanical stress and prevent the plate from bending under operating conditions. During the design phase a detailed calculation with appropriate checks is performed.
