LIS shall review and update the list of class advisers for SY 2014-2015

• Reminders:• Passwords have been reset to default; you will be advised to

change it to a more secured password• Email your new password to depedantipoloplanning@yahoo.com

for monitoring purposes• Classes from the previous school year (SY 2013-2014) have been

imported to the new school year (SY 2014-2015)

PRELIMINARY TASKS• Reminders:

• Do not include any unnecessary texts or characters in Section Name• Ex: IV–Bliss, 4(Bliss), “Bliss”

• Shifting refers to the time schedules corresponding to different sets of classes• Ex: morning session is 1st shift, afternoon session is 2nd shift

• Set Adviser to each class for them to access only the class in which they are assigned when they log-in using their own username and password

• Don’t forget to “Save” after reviewing and making the necessary changes

Create Personnel for New Advisers

PRELIMINARY TASKS• For new Class Adviser personnel, a personnel record

shall be created including a default user account• Reminders:

• Default username to be created for advisers shall be in the form schoolid_fmlastname14 (ex: 123456_alabogado14) with default password that is the same as the username

• Tell the advisers to use their respective username and password to access the LIS; they will be prompted to change their password to a more secured one

• Reset the password of Class Advisers who can’t access their account through the “Administration” facility

PRELIMINARY TASKS• User accounts of outgoing (separated and retired) Class

Advisers and volunteer teachers shall be disabled• Volunteer teachers who are assigned as Class Advisers

shall not be registered in the LIS. Their classes must be registered under the name and account of the school head or school admin

GUIDELINES FOR BOSY 2014 ENROLMENT

• Class Advisers shall be responsible for updating enrolment and learner data in the LIS. They must ensure that information in their respective class registry/ies are updated and accurate• Class Advisers may employ “Batch Enrol” to enrol multiple learners

from the list of candidates, or “Enrol By Learner” to individually search for learners and enrol them in the class

• “Enrol Learner” shall be used to register new learners (kinder or grade 1) and learners who have not been issued with an LRN in previous years

• Exhaust all possibilities that a learner has been previously issued an LRN before creating a new one for them

UPDATING LEARNER INFO• Reminders:

• For learners without middle name, put a dash “-” in the text box, instead of NA or NONE; do not put any other text or character (Ex: “NA”, “NONE”, N/A, -NONE

• Complete the data field for the name of the Father, Mother and Guardian

• Residence should be the barangay, municipality/city and province where the learner is currently residing

UPDATING LEARNER INFO• Reminders:

• Check CCT Recipient if the family of the learner is a recipient of the Conditional Cash Transfer program under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the DSWD

• Check ALIVE if learner is enrolled in Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education classes

• Check Balik-Aral if the learner passed a grade level in any previous school year, stopped schooling, then enrolled to the next grade level this year

• Check Repeater if the learner failed or dropped a grade level in any previous school year, then enrolled this year to the same grade level where they failed or dropped

GUIDELINES FOR BOSY 2014 ENROLMENT

• Enrolment data in the LIS must be based on learners who actually reported in school from the date of school opening (June 2, 2014).

• The cut-off date for reporting “Annual Enrolment” is the Friday of the week of the school opening (June 6, 2014). This annual enrolment is the total number of learners who reported in school and attended classes from school opening to the cut-off date (June 2-6, 2014)

• Theses data will be entered in the LIS until JULY 11, 2014• The annual enrolment data will be automatically pushed to

the enrolment summaries in the EBEIS.

GUIDELINES FOR BOSY 2014 ENROLMENT

• Late Enrolees are learners who reported in school after the July 6, 2014 cut-off date. These data will be encoded in the system, including their “Date of First Attendance”.
