ATTENDANCE
• Students are expected to be in school every day• Exceptions:
Legitimate illness supported by a parent or physician note
Pre-approved educational trips and college visits
Tardy or early dismissal for legitimate medical or legal appointments
A tardy is unexcused unless you produce a doctor’s note

UNEXCUSED ABSENCES
• If your absence is unlawful or unexcused you do NOT have the right to make up or turn in work.
• You will not get credit for projects due.
• An unexcused tardy is an unlawful absence!

• Skirts, shorts and dresses must be no shorter than mid thigh (tip of finger when arm extended down along leg)
• Clothing must be proper fitting and not impede movement– No excessive heels– No low rise pants– Clothing may no be too tight
• No outerwear (exterior coats) without express permission of the office.

• No head coverings. (Hats, bandanas, sweatbands, dew rags and hoods are not to be worn indoors.)

Public displays of affection are not appropriate for the school setting.
Students need to exhibit dignity and respect for themselves and other students.
Public kissing will result in a minimum of one PM detention being issued.

• Detention will be held from 2:50 - 5:15 this year due to a change in bus transportation.
• Detention is held every Tuesday and Thursday in Room 405 (Mrs. Garver.)
• If you cut a detention or arrive late, further detentions will be added. Additionally, ISS or OSS may be issued.
