ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

The college was established by Sri Jayaram

Education Trust in 2002 started with 3 branches

CSE, ECE, EEE. It has been taken over by the

Cavinkare Management in March 2010 and the

name of the college has been changed from Sri

Jayaram Engineering College to CK College of

Engineering & Technology (CKCET). This institute

is well planned and guided by a man of magnetic

force, dynamic and result oriented personality,

who is the Chairman of the trust

Mr.C.K.Ranganathan. He is a man with a wide

vision and mission that will take the institution at

par with excellence in all aspects equivalent to a

city ambiance. CKCET is proud in providing smart

campus to students, which offer an on-time

information to parents and faculty members.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was

established in the year 2009 and it has grown now

with an intake of 120 students. The Department

has distinguished and dedicated faculties in

different areas of Mechanical Engineering with

rich experience in academics, industry and

research. It has well equipped laboratories with

state of art equipment’s with latest software. The

sincere effort of faculty has resulted in significant

students achievements in Project Designs, Paper

presentations and technical contests. Regular

industrial training programs are being organized

as part of the curriculum. The Department has

organized regular SDPs, Seminars and

Conference in association with government

funding agencies like AICTE, CSIR etc.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The name “Intelligence” has been used for over 20 years, although only recently it has gained a widespread popularity. Computational intelligence is a branch of science studying problems for which there are no effective computational algorithms. . The objective of this conference is to disseminate the knowledge of latest trends in modeling and optimization in various fields of Engineering. This Conference acts as a forum for summing up the research findings and the latest developments in the field of modeling and optimization.
