What is Turnout?Turnout is the Labour Party’s application for Polling Day. The application enables you to:
• analyse voter turnout to help you decide where to knock up;• print up-to-date knock-up sheets for people to take out on the
street• update information both from telling slips collected from polling
station, and/or from information gathered on the doorstep or phone.
• coordinate a number of committee rooms over a large area if they are all connected to the internet.

New: Telling App
In addition to paper telling slips, you can now use the Labour Party’s new Telling App. Every polling district on Turnout will have a unique code which can be entered into the app to allow tellers to record polling numbers on their smartphone.
If they are connected to the internet this will be automatically synced back to Turnout – saving you time on data entry and meaning you get the useful data back much faster!
Let’s have a look at the Telling App
Exercise: Entering data from the doorstep and telling
ExerciseYou should have some fake knock-up sheets with data on, as well as some mocked-up telling data.
Login to Turnout (https://turnout.labour.org.uk) using the Training Data. Enter the data for the sheets you have in front of you, and then enter the telling data for the correct polling station.
Why not login to the Telling App (https://telling.labour.org.uk) and enter some of the telling data there?
