ORDER OF TITLESFor the opening sequence of the short film ‘Silent Strings’

WE WILL BE USING ON-SCREEN AND IN-SCREEN TITLES.We chose to use both on-screen titles and in-screen titles as we feel that they both have their own qualities; In-Screen - Effective, Eye Catching, UniqueOn-Screen – Neat and Tidy, Modern, Sleek

TITLE 1 – IN-SCREEN ”Infinity Productions presents”This will be the first title to appear on-screen. The title will appear on the shot of the guitar case being closed. The title will appear as soon as the guitar case has closed, written in chalk on the ground behind the lid.

TITLE 2 – ON-SCREEN ”In association with Paramount Pictures”This title will be located in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. It will appear in a stylised way.

TITLE 3 – ON-SCREEN ”A Fox Searchlight Film”This will be an on-screen title located at the top of the screen. It will be on the shot filmed from the opposite side of the road while our character walks underneath it.

TITLE 4 – ON-SCREEN ”Silent Strings”This title is quite important as it is the title of our film. It must stand out and be memorable as the audience want to remember the film for its good aspects that are clearly visible to its audience. We will use a pull focus filter to draw attention to the name of the film.

TITLE 5 – IN-SCREEN ”Starring Akay Polat”This will be the first title including the name of an actor. It will be written in chalk and coloured pen on a slab of cardboard, to merge in with the busker theme.

TITLE 6 – ON-SCREEN ”Ruby Owen”This is a fictional name for a character. It will appear in the bottom left hand corner.

TITLE 7 – ON-SCREEN ”Matthew James”This is a fictional name for a character. It will appear in the bottom right hand corner.

TITLE 8 – IN-SCREEN ”and Dharmesh Upadhyaya”This is my dad’s name as I thought it would be more appropriate for an adult to play the role of the dad. It will be written on cardboard.

TITLE 9 – ON-SCREEN ”Thomas Farner”This is a fictional name for a character. It will appear in the bottom left hand corner.

TITLE 10 – ON-SCREEN ”Alan Atkins”This is a fictional name for a character. It will appear in the bottom right hand corner.

TITLE 11 – ON-SCREEN ”Cinematographer Danielle King”Danielle King is our cinematographer. Her name will be located in the bottom left corner and will appear in a stylised way.

TITLE 12 – ON-SCREEN ”Sound Design by Amelia Smith”This is a fictional name for the sound designer of our production. Her name will be located in the centre of the screen and will appear in a stylised way.

TITLE 13 – ON-SCREEN ”Produced by Danielle King”Danielle King is the producer of this production. Her name will appear in the bottom right corner in a stylised way.

TITLE 14 – ON-SCREEN ”Directed by Hari Upadhyaya”I will be the director of this production. The final on-screen title will be my name appearing in the centre of the screen, appearing in a stylised way
