LOCALITY

Orange Grove is located in Tamworth. This city proudly proclaims itself as Australia's Country Music Capital. Tamworth is one of the largest regional centres in NSW and is a thriving rural town in one of the most productive regions of the state.

In 2008, the city opened the doors to a $30 million world-class Australian Equine & Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) which houses an indoor arena with seating for 3,100 spectators (expandable to 5,000), as well as stabling for 500 horses, truck parking and camping facilities for over 200 vehicles. The AELEC is the principal performance horse facility in Australia and many locals are predicting that in time, this industry will grow to become a bigger industry than country music.

Orange Grove boasts:• New England Highway frontage, 10 minutes to Tamworth CBD• 6 kms (5 minutes) to Australian Equine Livestock Event Centre (AELEC)• 50 minute flight from Sydney, 5 return flights per day• 1 hour flight from Brisbane, 2 return flights per day• 90 minutes to Scone and the major stud farms

With a population of 57,000 Tamworth services a vast area and provides all industry needs.

INTRODUCTION

Orange Grove was established in 2002 by the present owners, Steve and Kristina Young. As evident, much planning and thought has gone into the design and building of this stud farm. Quality materials and workmanship are a feature of this stud and Orange Grove presents in first class order.

All roads are gravelled and all material was trucked in. All roads have been well constructed to provide access to all parts of the stud in the wettest of times. Power is underground as is the irrigation mains. The owners can provide a detailed map of all underground services.
