Any optimum number of nodes – No optimum number. We have customers from 2 nodes to

6 nodes in production

Interconnect – Custom protocols and network hardware are supported– For eg: RSM, UDP, LLT– Best practice: UDP ( TCP for windows ) over gigabit

PCP a requirement or not– Yes. PCP is a requirement for RAC customers
